Aldridge Quarters Lindgren

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Ken Aldridge
Ken Aldridge

Erick Lindgren raised to 3,000 under the gun and was called by Ken Aldridge in the seat next to him. The 67K flop was checked by both players before Lindgren fired 8,000 on the 4 turn.

Aldridge made a quick call and did so too when Lindgren bet 25,000 on the 4 river.

Lindgren tabled AAJ92 for aces up and the nut low, but Aldridge played A8752 for the same low with a straight, giving him three quarters of the pot.

Mike Matusow in the big blind and Naoya Kihara under the gun were on a completed board of K8K92. With 8,500 chips gathered preflop, each player had put in 4,000 chips on the flop and 10,000 on the turn.

On the river, Matusow made a bet of 25,000 chips, sending Kihara in the tank. Eventually, the Japanese player folded, shipping the pot to "The Mouth."

Jattin Busts Burchfield

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Farid Jattin in the small blind had three-bet Kristopher Burchfield in the cutoff. The action folded back to Burchfield, who four-bet to 50,500 chips. Jattin made the call for the K52 flop to be fanned out.

Jattin led all in for around a quarter of the pot and received a snap call from Burchfield, who was the one at risk.

Kristopher Burchfield: AA993 All in
Farid Jattin: AKKQ5

Jattin had flopped a set to crack Burchfield's aces, and his hand remained best on the J9 runout, sending Burchfield home early on Day 1.
