Margolin Takes Down Pot
Three-time WSOP bracelet winner Timur Margolin raised in early position to 400,000 and received a call from the player in the big blind.
The dealer fanned 4♦2♣10♣, and the player in the big blind checked. Margolin fired 300,000 and his opponent called.
The J♥ appeared on the turn, and Margolin watched as the player in the big blind checked again. Margolin responded by making a 975,000 bet, which his opponent called.
The 6♣ appeared on the river, and the player in the big blind checked. Margolin sized up to a 2,350,000 bet, which perplexed his opponent.
The player in the big blind went a bit in the tank, shrugging his shoulders while counting out chips. He asked the dealer to confirm the size of Margolin’s bet before eventually making the call.
Margolin tabled K♣J♠ for a pair of jacks.
“You win,” the player in the big blind said as he folded his hand face down.
