Valdez Sends Cote Packing

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Matthew Cote moved all in for his remaining stack at the cutoff position.

The players on the button and small blind folded, but Fausto Valdez immediately called out of the big blind to put Cote at risk.

Fausto Valdez: KK

The dealer fanned K97 on the flop, giving Valdez top set. The 6 on the turn opened a gutshot possibility for Cote, who needed an eight on the river for a straight. The 4 as the last card on the board sent Cote to the rail.
