Without any betting action on the Q♠3♠2♦ flop and J♣ turn, Chris Hunichen bet 80,000 on the 6♠ river. Brian Rast called but mucked when he was shown the A♦6♥ for a pair of sixes.

Viktor Blom raised to 120,000 in the hijack before Ben Tollerene shipped in his 1,310,000 chips on the button. The action folded back to Blom, who made a quick call with the covering stack.
Ben Tollerene: 8♠8♥
Viktor Blom: J♣J♦
The J♥K♥2♥ flop brought Blom a set and Tollerene a flush draw. No hearts came in on the 6♦Q♠ runout, however, and Tollerene said his goodbyes while Blom soared up the ranks.
Sam Soverel moved all-in with a short stack of 410,000 and was looked up by one of the big stacks at the table in Orpen Kisacikoglu.
Sam Soverel: A♠J♦
Orpen Kisacikoglu: A♣K♠
Soverel improved on the J♠10♦3♣ flop but fell behind again with the K♣ turn. No further surprise came with the 5♥ river and Soverel became the next casualty early on Day 2.
Andrew Lichtenberger raised the button to 135,000 and both Justin Bonomo & Viktor Blom called out of the blinds.
On the 8♣7♣5♠ flop, all three players checked to see the 6♠ turn. Bonomo checked, Blom fired 285,000, and both Lichtenberger & Bonomo folded.
Gregory Jensen bet the Q♠9♣2♦4♠ turn and jammed the 5♠ river against Masashi Oya, sending the latter into the tank. Once Oya folded, Ren Lin sitting between them declared "jack ten, show the bluff" to Jensen. The latter raked in the chips first, then grabbed his cards and exposed the A♠4♦.
"Ace four? Professional player," Lin concluded.
Michael Moncek doubled soon after his late entry and he hovered around 1.2 million for a while. Those chips just went into the middle preflop and he was snapped off by Daniel Aharoni.
Michael Moncek: A♦9♦
Daniel Aharoni: A♣K♥
The K♦7♣5♣ flop left Moncek in need of running cards and one of them came with the 10♦ turn. However, there was no miracle with the 2♥ river and Aharoni added to his growing stack.
Among those to bust recently were several of the last-minute additions at the end of late registration. The field is already down to the final five tables.
Chance Kornuth open-jammed a stack of 325,000 from under the gun and put on a Chip Leader Coaching patch as he and Ren Lin joked that he needed a new name for the coaching site.
"Short Stack Coaching: Brought to you by Allen Kessler," said Kornuth.
Action folded to Sergio Aido in the big blind, who called with a bigger stack.
Chance Kornuth: 9♣8♣
Sergio Aido: K♦7♦
The flop of 5♣2♣2♠ gave Kornuth plenty of hope with a flush draw, and the 8♦ turn gave him the lead before the J♦ river bricked off to earn him a double.
Ben Tollerene raised to 130,000 from middle position before Andrew Lichtenberger three-bet to 450,000 in the small blind. The action folded back to Tollerene, who made the call after some thinking time.
Lichtenberger then checked on the 9♥8♥9♠ flop, after which Tollerene bet 250,000 chips. Lichtenberger made the call and the subsequent K♥ turn was checked through.
On the K♠ river, Lichtenberger made a bet of 1,500,000 chips. Tollerene instantly mucked his cards as Lichtenberger raked in the large pot.
