Masashi Oya in the cutoff got his stack of 840,000 in preflop against Michael Jozoff in the big blind.
Masashi Oya: A♣10♣
Michael Jozoff: 2♠2♥
The 6♦K♥8♠ flop remained safe for Jozoff's pocket pair, and so did the 9♠ turn. The 10♠ river saw Oya double up, however, surpassing his opponent in the counts.
Sergio Aido open-jammed a stack of 420,000 in early position and Gregory Jensen bet 125,000 without realizing there had been a raise. Jensen then called to put the recent $50,000 High Roller champion at risk.
Sergio Aido: A♠10♥
Gregory Jensen: A♣4♥
Adio had his opponent dominated and stayed ahead to double as the board ran out 8♦3♠6♦8♣5♥.
Brian Rast had open-raised from the hijack preflop and Jared Bleznick had defended his big blind when the K♠8♥6♣ flop was spread. Bleznick check-called Rast's bet of 80,000, after which the 7♠ came on the turn.
Bleznick decided to lead out for 125,000, which Rast called. Bleznick then sized up to 225,000 on the A♣ river, but another call was thrown in by Rast.
Bleznick tabled 10♦3♦ for ten-high, which was outclassed by the A♠J♠ of Rast, who had rivered top pair.
Sean Winter was all in for around 1,300,000 from the button against Justin Saliba in the small blind, who had him covered.
Sean Winter: A♦K♥
Justin Saliba: J♠10♠
The flop of 4♠A♥8♠ was a spicy one as Winter flopped top pair but still needed to dodge Saliba's flush outs. The Q♣ turn gave Saliba additional outs and they proved useful as the 9♣ river landed to give him a runner-runner straight to eliminate Winter
On a flop of J♥6♣5♠, Daniel Aharoni and Sean Winter checked to Jesse Lonis who made it 175,000 to go. Aharoni in the big blind then jammed and Winter used one time bank extension before calling.
"How much is this?" Lonis inquired with regards to the shove by Aharoni, who was all-in for 895,000. Lonis was covered by that and opted to get out of the way.
Daniel Aharoni: 8♦7♥
Sean Winter: A♠A♦
The 9♥ turn instantly gave Aharoni the straight and that made the 7♠ river a formality.
Taylor von Kriegenbergh jammed all in for 425,000 from the hijack and Orpen Kisacikoglu made the call in the cutoff. Artur Martirosian then three-bet shoved on the button and the action folded back to Kisacikoglu.
The Turkish high roller made a quick call, risking his stack of 840,000 chips.
Taylor von Kriegenbergh: 8♠8♣
Orpen Kisacikoglu: J♠J♥
Artur Martirosian: A♥J♦
The 3♥Q♠K♣ flop gave Martirosian some extra outs, but the 4♠7♣ runout remained safe for Kisacikoglu to rake in the huge pot and eliminate Von Kriegenbergh.
Meanwhile, Lewis Spencer's seat was left empty on another table.
