Broom Doubles Through Ripper

Wagner Ripper raised to 60,000 from the cutoff, James Broom ripped it in for 285,000 from the button, and Ripper called when it was back on him after considering it for about a minute.

Action was caught after the turn was the 6288 and Sonny Franco led out for 175,000 from under the gun.

Iaron Lightbourne made the call to the river.

While the river peeled off the 4, Franco continued for 275,000.

Lightbourne took some time before putting in a raise to 700,000.

Franco ultimately decided to fold for Lightbourne to continue his hot streak.

Schwartz Calls Dukic Down

The board read 10KQ4 on the turn. From the cutoff, Nenad Dukic bet 215,000 and Jake Schwartz made a deliberate call.

The river came the 4. Dukic then bet 385,000. Schwartz stood up and checked the clock while thinking before eventually tossing in the call.

Dukic had the A5 while Schwartz tabled the KQ to win the important pot.

A full board of 72Q104 was showing and with around 325,000 chips in the middle, Georgios Sotiropoulos had bet the pot on the river. Ihar Soika had the decision and, according to his tablemates, was taking too long so the clock was called on him.

Once the tournament director started the countdown, Soika shoved all in for 930,000. The action was back on Sotiropoulos, who after spending some time thinking, reluctantly made the call.

Soika tabled Q4 for a rivered two pair and Sotiropoulos flipped Q5 then mucked it.

Munteanu Makes the Right Call

On a board of 4976, Kharlin Sued had bet 150,000 on the turn, which Bogdan Munteanu called, and Pedro Madeira folded.

A 7 fell on the river and Sued bet 350,000. Munteanu thought it over for a while before he eventually tossed in a call.

Sued seemed to accept defeat which prompted Munteanu to flip over 98 for a pair of nines, which was good for the pot.
