Brandon Schwartz raised to 50,000 from the hijack and got called by Kharlin Sued in the cutoff, David Coleman on the button, and James Broom in the big blind.
All four players checked the Q♥A♠2♣ flop to the 7♣ turn. When it got to Schwartz, he fired a bet of 75,000, and to his surprise, everybody folded.
Action was caught after the flop of 6♦A♦K♦ and both players were quick to check.
The 7♥ peeled off on the turn and Krasimir Yankov led out for 65,000 from the big blind. Jake Schwartz put in the call on the button.
While the river was the K♥, both players were quick to check.
Yankov revealed 10♦10♣ to take the pot.
With around 150,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 5♦A♦10♠, Yuzhu Wang check-called a bet of 45,000 from Max Kruse.
The turn brought a 2♠ which was checked through to the 9♣ river. Wang led out for 55,000, and Kruse went deep into the tank before he eventually made the call.
Wang showed A♠7♥ for a pair of aces, and Kruse mucked.
There was big action on a board reading Q♣8♠3♣Q♦ and a pot of 760,000 in the middle. From the cutoff, Turbo Nguyen bet 450,000. Matthew McEwan was in the hijack and took a few moments before he moved all in for 1,055,000.
Nguyen went diving into the tank as he counted out his chips and told the table he was doing some math in his head. He separated the chips into different piles, while doing the accounting. After a couple of minutes he eventually laid it down.
He claimed to have had the A♣3♣ even though there was already a 3♣ on the board and that the price was not quite good enough to make the call for him.
David Coleman opened to 50,000 from the hijack before Wagner Ripper three-bet all in for 255,000. When it folded to the big blind Kharlin Sued, he elected to make the call. The original raiser Coleman then four-bet all in for 1,150,000, which sent Sued in the tank. After several minutes, Sued did find a fold, leaving the two players heads up, with Ripper at risk.

Ripper was ahead with pocket nines and when the board ran out 8♦7♥3♥3♦8♣, Ripper's nine were still best and he managed to triple up.
Jason Daly had an action-packed start to the day but it all came to an end just as he started to get a glimmer of hope.
Daly had already doubled up once and shoved all in with Q♠8♠ and got called Tyler Cornell's J♠J♥. A runout of Q♥4♦4♥6♥10♦ saw Daly hit top pair and double up.
The very next hand, Bogdan Munteanu shoved all in from the small blind, and Daly snapped from the big blind.

On the river, the board read J♦3♣8♥4♥A♣. Dong Chen bet 110,000 and Jake Schwartz made the call after a few moments.
Chen tabled the A♦2♥ for top pair and took down the pot.
Action was caught after the board completed 10♠J♦5♦6♥A♣ and David Coleman was quick to check from the big blind.
James Broom also checked from middle position.
Coleman was hoping to induce a bet from Broom as he revealed A♠6♠ for two pair.
Action was caught on the river with a board reading 7♦K♠A♣J♠5♥. From the small blind, Clemen Deng bet 250,000 into a pot of about 305,000.
Erfan Geula was in the big blind and had to think it over for a while before he called.
Deng tabled the A♦Q♥ for top pair and Geula mucked.
