Jorstad Bluffs into Trips; Shakerchi Out

Level 12 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Adrian Mateos opened to 125,000 from early position and Espen Jorstad defended his big blind.

Jorstad check-called for 85,000 on the Q102 flop before leading out for 125,000 on the 10 turn. Mateos quickly called.

Jorstad sized up to to 600,000 on the 7 river and was snapped-off.

Jorstad handed over his six T-100,000 chips to Mateos as he sheepishly tabled KJ. Mateos had trips with 109 and dented the 2022 WSOP Main Event Champion.

Hecklen Scoops a Big One

Level 12 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Sam Soverel raised to 120,000 from the hijack and Henrik Hecklen defended in the big blind.

The Q59 flop saw Hecklen check-call a bet of 125,000 from Soverel.

The 8 turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Soverel sized up to 560,000.

The 6 checked through to a showdown. Hecklen tabled Q7, a flopped top pair that improved to a straight on the river. Soverel had to double-check the board to confirm Hecklen had made a straight, before mucking his cards with some frustration.

"They Bink Everything!" Kabrhel Gone After Going at $100K Final Tablists

Level 12 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Jeremy Ausmus was all in for around 520,000 in the cutoff against Martin Kabrhel in the big blind, who had a slightly bigger stack.

Jeremy Ausmus: 109 All in
Martin Kabrhel: KQ

Ausmus took the lead on the flop of 6108 and the 10 left Kabrhel drawing dead before the 3 river confirmed a double for Ausmus.

"I don't know who is crazier, you or him," Kabrhel told Ausmus while gesturing to Chris Hunichen, who Ausmus finished runner-up to in the $100,000 High Roller.

The next hand, Kabrhel completed in the small blind with just a few chips behind and called off after a raise in the big blind from Hunichen, though not before asking the dealer whether it had been a legitimate raise.

Martin Kabrhel: K4 All in
Chris Hunichen: 97

The flop landed 4A10 to put Kabrhel in front, but it was short-lived as the 7 turn gave Hunichen the lead as the 10 bricked off on the river. Before hitting the rail, Kabrhel asked to have a word with the floor.

"This is ridiculous. They bink everything! Do something!" yelled Kabrhel.

Lewis Spencer
Lewis Spencer

On the tail end of the last level, Lewis Spencer raised to 100,000 from the hijack, Brian Kim called in the cutoff and Jake Schindler three-bet to 450,000, from the big blind. Spencer four-bet jammed for approximately 1,700,000, Kim folded and Schindler called.

Lewis Spencer: 1010 All in
Jake Schindler: AK

This flip quickly fell in the favour of Schindler as the flop landed AQ4. The 8 turn and J river changed nothing and Spencer was sent to the rail.
