No help arrived for Rodriguez on the 2♠ turn or 10♠ river which meant Gold doubled up.
Ravi Shankar raised from under the gun to 320,000 and Yiannis Liperis called from the big blind.
On the J♦5♦3♥ flop, Liperis checked, Shankar shoved for 1,050,000, and Liperis folded.
Noel Rodriguez opened 340,000 under the gun and Thomas Clack moved all-in for about 1,200,000 next to act. The action quickly folded back around to Rodriguez and he made the call.

Chris Klodnicki on the button opened to almost 2,000,000, and Wayne Harmon in the big blind called for his last 420,000.
