Players were heads-up and on a 7♠5♦3♣ flop with Caroline Bassett in the big blind and Kyna England in the cutoff. The pot stood at around 5,000.

Bassett checked the flop and England bet 2,000. Bassett made the call and the players saw a 8♦ turn.

Bassett checked again after seeing the turn and England raised to 7,000. Bassett took around a minute, but made the call.

The 4♦ came on the river and both players checked to showdown. England turned over A♣4♣ and Bassett showed 9♠8♥ for the winning hand, taking the pot with a pair of eights.

Mary Platz started the action with a raise to 2,700 from under the gun, which was called by Xuan Liu in middle position, Ruth Flores on the button, and Jacqueline Proffer in the big blind.

The dealer revealed the flop 10♥9♦J♣. Proffer led out with a bet of 3,000. Platz raised to 12,000, prompting Liu to push all in for 15,600. Flores folded, and Proffer quickly raised all in, which Platz quickly called.

Yukari Shimodan was all in from the cutoff for around 15,600 and got a single call from the small blind.

Shimodan hit on the 4♣3♥J♠ flop to improve her to a pair of jacks, and the 2♣ J♦ runout also went her way.

Shimodan got the double to stay in the tournament, and sat back with well over starting stack again just after the dinner break.

According to the players, action started with a limp by Ulla Winkler under the gun for 800, which got raised by Kristen Imsirovic in early position - she made it 2,500. This was called by the player in middle position. Anastasia Knapp was in late position and four-bet to 9,500, which was first cold-called by Myagmarsuren Rock in the hijack. Action then folded to the player in the small blind, who called all-in for 7,000. Winkler folded, Imsirovic called, as did the player in middle position.

It was five ways to the K♠7♠3♠ flop with one player all in. Imsirovic and middle position both checked. Knapp bet 15,000. Imsirovic folded and the player in middle position called. Rock folded as well.

The turn was 3x, pairing the board. Middle position checked, Knapp bet 20,000. Middle position raised to 65,000. Knapp four-bet shoved and got snap-called.

Anastasia Knapp: 7x7x

The middle-position player was holding the ace-high flush, but Knapp had both of her all-in opponents drawing dead on the turn and raked in a massive pot to give her the likely tournament chip lead.

Rock later said that she folded pocket queens on the flop, while Elizabeth Huey folded the very same hand preflop.
