Hansen Gives Bedell Credit

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 25,000 from the hijack and found one caller in Gus Hansen in the big blind.

Both players checked on the A53 flop and then Hansen led out for 24,000 after the 8 fell on the turn.

Bedell cut out a raise to 75,000 and placed it into the middle, which got a shrug and a fold from Hansen to send the pot Bedell's way.

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tomer Daniel raised to 22,000 from middle position and was called by Nick Schulman in the small blind and Tom-Aksel Bedell in the big blind.

Action checked through on the 336 flop and then Schulman led out for 28,000 on the 5 turn. Bedell folded and Daniel called.

Both players checked on the 9 river and Schulman announced, "Aces," as he tabled AAJ4. Daniel showed he held KK and mucked — conceding the pot to Schulman.

Deeb Skyrockets to a Massive Stack

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

The hot run of Elie Nakache was cooled down in a big pot and his cards were just mucked while he was busy paying off a large double to Shaun Deeb.

"You might be running good in the 10k, but I run good in this one," Deeb said.

According to Deeb, it was a three-way pot on which they got it in after the JJ2 flop with Kahle Burns getting out of the way. Nakache had the 3x3x2x2x for a full house while Deeb revealed the QJ85. The J turn gave Deeb quads to seal up the double and make the K river a formality.

On the river of a 776J2 board, Michael Moncek bet 115,000 out of the small blind. Marcello Del Grosso was in the tank and tossed out a time bank extension before he eventually made the call.

Moncek tabled the AAQ3 and that won the pot.

"I thought you were aggressive, but you just have aces all the time," Gjergj Sinishtaj joked.

"Both things can be true," Moncek said with a smirk on the face while raking in the pot.
