Reames Makes Great Hero Call to Eliminate Hodaj

Action folded around to Besmir Hodaj who limped in from the small blind. Dalton Reames checked his option in the big blind and players headed to a flop.

Reames fired 200,000 on 6♦9♠3♠ before Hodaj check-raised to 425,000. Reames called.

Hodaj bet small for 375,000 on the K♦ turn and Reames called once more.

The river J♦ peeled off completing the possible backdoor flush and Hodaj moved all in for 1,200,000. Reames thought it over for a couple minutes before sticking in the call.

Hodaj showed 5♠4♥ for the whiffed open-ender bluff while Reames tabled 9♥4♠ for a pair of nines. Hodaj was sent to the rail while Reames added to his mountain of chips, crossing the 8,000,000-chip mark.
