Freddy Deeb, in the cutoff, was involved in a three-way pot with both players in the blinds.
On a flop of 5♥5♦8♠, both players in the blinds checked and Deeb bet 2,100. Only the big blind continued.
Both the A♥ turn and 6♦ river went check-check. The big blind showed 4♥4♣ for two pair, fives and fours, while Deeb tabled 7♦8♦ for two pair, fives and eights to take down the pot.
With three players seeing a board of J♦Q♣2♠A♥ and about 3,500 in the middle, Roy Bitton checked from the big blind, Andy Tsai bet 1,100 from middle position, Jae Lim called in the cutoff and Bitton folded.
On the K♦ river Tsai checked. Lim bet 3,800 and took the pot after Tsai opted to fold.
Three players saw a flop of 8♠4♦2♥. Roy Bar Lev bet 2,000 from early position. Maxx Coleman called on his direct left. Veerab Zakarian raised it to 8,700 in the big blind. Bar Lev called while Coleman folded.
The turn came the Q♠. Bar Lev bet 17,000 which got Zakarian to fold as Bar Lev added some more chips to his increasing stack.
The hijack raised to 800, the cutoff called and John Sul three-bet to 5,000, from the button. Only the original raiser called.
The 10♥J♣5♣ flop saw the hijack check-call a bet of 5,500 from Sul.
The 6♣ turn and the 3♠ river checked to a showdown. The hijack tabled Q♠10♠, while Sul claimed this pot with A♠A♠ for an over pair to the board.
Kahle Burns and Rostyslav Sabishchenko were heads-up on the turn with the board showing 9♦A♦3♦2♥ when Sabishchenko bet 2,200 from early position.
Burns called in the hijack as the 2♠ fell on the river. Sabishchenko then bet 10,000, enough to put Burns all in.
Burns got up and kneeled on his chair as he went deep into the tank. He eventually emerged with a call for his last 8,500 after several minutes and Sabishchenko showed Q♥10♠ for a bluff. Burns turned over A♥10♥ for two pair as he doubled up.
At the same table, Assaf Zeharia has already climbed past 200,000.
The player in early position raised to 1,000, Rachid Amamou three-bet to 3,500 in late position, and the player in the small blind cold four-bet to 11,500.
Early position got out of the way, and Amamou five-bet shoved all in, putting the small blind at risk, who had 27,500 behind. The small blind folded and Amamou showed Q♠Q♦.
After the hand, Amamou mentioned that today is his birthday. What better way to spend it than playing in the WSOP Main Event!
Action was picked up between two players on a flop of 8♣7♠5♣ with about 10,000 in the middle. Rafael Moraes had checked and Gaelle Baumann had fired a small bet in position. Moraes check-raised to 9,700 and Baumann called.
Both players then checked the 8♠ turn leading to the 8♥ river. Moraes checked and Baumann bet 7,500. Moraes took about a minute to decide before making the call.
Baumann tabled a full house with Q♦Q♥ and Moraes mucked.
