José Gomez raised to 61,000 first-to-act and found one caller in Shaun Deeb in the big blind.
Deeb check-called a 600 bet from Gomez on the K♥5♥Q♥ flop and then both players checked on the 3♥ turn.
The 10♣ completed the board and Deeb bet 1,300. Gomez responded with a raise to 4,000 and Deeb looked Gomez up.
Gomez tabled A♥10♥ for the flopped nut flush and Deeb nodded his head before sending his hand into the muck.
On a flop of Q♦3♠7♥, the cutoff bet 1,700 into Quan Zhou, who called.
The 8♣ turn and 6♥ river were checked and Zhou tabled 4♣4♥ which beat the A♥K♥ of the cutoff.
The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.
Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.
There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.
Alen Tenorio opened to 900 from the button and was called by Andrew Lichtenberger in the small blind.
The flop came A♠J♥2♦ and Lichtenberger check-called a 600 continuation bet from Tenorio.
Tenorio bet again for 2,200 when checked to on the 7♠ turn and this time Lichtenberger opted to fold.
There were around 15,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 2♠2♥3♠ when Matt Dean checked, Danny Hoang bet 5,000, and Dean check-raised to 20,000. Hoang made the call.
A 5♠ fell on the turn and Dean slowed down with a check, and Hoang bet 50,000. It didn't take too long for Dean to make a decision as he folded his hand.
Dirk Luenzer opened to 1,100 from under the gun and got called by Brandon Steven in middle position and the player in the big blind.
The big blind checked to Luenzer on the 8♥K♦4♦ flop. He fired out a bet of 2,000, which was called by Steven and the big blind player.
The Q♥ on the turn got checked through for the 8♣ to appear on the river. The big blind checked again and Luenzer bet 2,000. This prompted two quick folds from his opponents.
