Duveau Out Just Before Dinner

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Arthur Schiavo left the tournament area with a very loud "fuck" after his flopped set of fours went down in flames, up against ace-king which went runner-runner for the superior full house.

Two tables over, Julien Duveau got it in for 16,300 preflop with the 77. Dann Turner looked him up with A10 and hit broadway on the KJ57Q runout.

"Terrible. I had thirty five tournaments and no cash," Duveau sighed on his way out.

A short-stacked Chen-An Lin was all-in with the AK and up against Premnath Kasinath, who flipped over the 1010.

The J6248 runout brought no help to Lin and he was sent to the rail.

Ronquillo Gets a Big Double

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With the board showing 95263, Jonathan Ronquillo was all-in for 75,000 with a pot of around 135,000 evolved by then.

His opponent Kunal Punjwani was deep in the tank and the clock was called on him. Once the thirty second countdown started, Punjwani made the call and was shown the bad news. Ronquillo on the button had 87 for the nuts and Punjwani briefly exposed 44 for an inferior straight.

White Takes From Two Nguyens

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Kenny Nguyen opened to 2,700 from middle position and was called by Scotty Nguyen in the cutoff and Michael White in the big blind.

White checked to Nguyen on the 4104 flop and he continued for 3,300. Scotty Nguyen folded, but White called.

The 5 fell on the turn and White check-called an 8,500 bet from Nguyen before both players checked on the 5 river.

White tabled J10 for tens and fives and Nguyen folded what he claimed to be a pocket pair to send the pot White's direction.

Kornecook Takes it

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Christopher Kline raised to 3,000 from middle position, and after it folded to Thomas Kornecook, he defended the big blind and made the call.

The flop came 864 and Kornecook check-called a bet of 4,000 from Kline.

After the A on the turn, Kornecook again check-called a bet of 8,000 from Kline.

When the 9 hit the river, Kornecook then led out for a bet of 30,000. Kline quickly folded and gave the pot to Korecook.
