Boris Angelov opened to 65,000 from the cutoff and just behind him, Michael Estes three-bet to 140,000 on the button. Action folded back around to Angelov, who announced he was all in, which was enough to put Estes all in for approximately 600,000 total.
Estes went deep into the tank and eventually folded what he claimed to be jacks. Angelov showed he held 3♥3♦ as he collected the pot.
A player moved their short stack into the middle from under the gun and Samiyel Duzgun called in early position.

Duzgun was ahead and improved to trips on the A♣4♠9♥6♥A♠ runout to send his opponent to the rail while adding much needed chips to his somewhat anaemic stack.
The action was picked up from the A♥J♦5♣ flop with Tyler Montoya in a middle position with 9♠9♦ and Jacques Ortega in the big blind with A♦Q♥.
The pot stood at 165,000 when Ortega checked and Montoya bet 40,000, which got a call from Ortega.
Ortega checked the K♦ turn and Montoya raised to 320,000. Ortega took a few moments before moving all his chips into the middle. Montoya snap folded and Ortega took the pot.
Phil Ivey's run in the Main Event just came to an end at the hands of Zakhar Galper, and the table filled in the details.
According to a player at the table, Galper raised before Ivey jammed for 400,000 with two jacks. Galper called with AxQx and the flop came Kx9x9x. The A♠ fell on the turn to give Galper the lead with two pair, and Ivey couldn't hit his two-outer on the river to stay alive as the 11-time bracelet winner was sent to the rail.
After loosing most of his stack in a previous bad beat, Adrian Mateos was all in for 255,000 from middle position and was called by James Tian to his direct left.

The 8♦5♣J♣A♠Q♥ runout didn't improve Mateos, and his time in the main event came to an end.
Heads-up to the K♣Q♠8♠6♣ turn, Aleksejs Ponakovs checked in the big blind. Ryan Sang on the button bet 225,000 and Ponakovs check-raised to 530,000. Sang wasted little time before moving all-in and Ponakovs folded near instantly.

In a single-raised pot on a flop of 9♥2♥J♠, Guillermo Sanchez Otero check-called a bet of 125,000 from Luis Dorneles.
A Q♣ came on the turn and after Otero checked for a second time, Dorneles fired 300,000 into the middle. Otero took his time then made the call.
The 4♥ river brought in the flush draw which saw both players check.
Otero tabled K♠10♦ for a straight, and Dorneles flashed Qx10x before he sent his cards into the muck.
Jonathan Little was on the button and got his last 500,000 in the middle against Kyosuke Nagami in the small blind.

Little was dominated as the 9♦8♠8♣ flop left open the possibility of a chop. The 6♥ turn was no help, while the 2♣ fell on the river to mark the end of Little's Main Event.
Action folded to Olivier Chaume in a middle position who raised to 60,000 with A♥5♥. Arthur Morris looked down at K♠K♦ and three-bet to 175,000 from the small blind.
Chaume four-bet to 375,000 and Morris moved all in for 1,340,000. Chaume folded and Morris chipped up.
