Gibson Puts in a Raise

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Daniel Wendorf opened to 120,000 from middle position and Toby Gibson called in the big blind.

Gibson checked on the 1083 flop, prompting Wendorf to continue for 150,000. With little hesitation, Gibson pushed 2,000,000 into the pot, enough to force his opponent all in. Wendorf took little time in folding to put a dent in his stack.

Fernando Romano was eliminated at another table.

Szwarcberg Stuns Kadre on the River

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Heads-up going to the turn on a board of 47A4, Tomas Szwarcberg bet 430,000 from the button and Cairo Kadre called in the small blind.

The river was the 5 and Szwarcberg bet another 1,400,000. Kadre quickly called and Szwarcberg turned over 86 for a rivered straight to win the massive pot.

Lopez Muscles a Pot From Joubert

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Dimitri Joubert raised to 120,000 from early position and was three-bet to 320,000 by Adrian Lopez in middle position. It was folded back around to Joubert, who called.

Joubert checked to Lopez on the J73 flop and he continued for 225,000. Joubert then raised to 650,000 and Lopez called.

The 6 fell on the turn and Joubert went back to checking, which was met with a 650,000 bet from Lopez.

This time Joubert let his hand go and Lopez collected the nice pot.

Machado

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Manuel Machado opened to 120,000 with A2 from a middle position and Christopher Brammer defended 42 from the big blind.

The flop came 94A and Brammer checked. Machado bet 85,000 having just hit top pair and Brammer raised to 250,000. Machado made the call.

Both players picked up on the 2 turn, but Machado was still ahead with the Aces and Deuces.

Brammer raised to 660,000 and Machado called to take them to the 5 river.

Both players check to showdown, with Machado taking the pot.

Full House for Lo

Wai Kit Lo defended from the big blind after Ian O'Hara opened to 120,000 from the hijack.

Both players checked the 788 flop, and the 10 brought no action either. However on the 8 river, Lo decided to bet 200,000. O'Hara quickly called, but his cards into the muck when Lo revealed 74 for a full house.

Wysocki Turns a Baby Flush

With around 500,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 66Q, Szymon Wysocki checked and Jingwei Guo fired a bet of 150,000, which Orson Young called. Wysocki then raised to 430,000, which got Guo to fold, and Young called.

The 9 landed on the turn and Wysocki checked, Young bet 300,000, and Wysocki called.

On the K river, both players checked and Wysocki tabled 32 for a flush, and Young mucked.

Scott Loses a Classic Flip to Juarez

Jordan Scott moved all in for his last 980,000 from middle position and Mauro Juarez put him at risk from the hijack.

It was a classic flip, and Juarez would come out on top after the board ran out 8J2J6, sending Scott to the rail.

Coming off the stream table, Jesse Lonis had seen his stack decimated to around 1.6 million after he folded to a shove and further plummeted on the leaderboard. He then took on Giovanni Zanette and four-bet jammed when Zanette made it 315,000 to go.

The latter instantly called with the KK and the ace-queen of Lonis found no help on the 64399 runout.

At almost the same time, Ian O'Hara also departed after he could not beat the Q7 of Kenneth Kim in the big blind with the latter rivering two pair on a Q8397 board.

Abusaleh Gets a Double

The action was followed from Aleksejs Ponakovs's three-bet to 360,000. Rakan Abusaleh then four-bet jammed for 930,000. Ponakovs, thought for a few seconds, before he found a call, and the players flip their hands.

Abusaleh was looking to stay ahead to stay alive in the tournament.

The 632 flop brought a club, giving Ponakovs a backdoor flush but not much else changed.

The 4 turn brought a further flush draw sweat for the table.

Abusaleh held strong on the 7 river, and got the double, with Ponakovs missing his outs.
