A short-stacked Marco Zevola put his hopes on the A♥K♥ and he was up against Joe Serock, who took the coin flip with the 5♠5♥.
The 9♥8♦4♥ flop gave Zevola additional outs with the flush draw and he gained more equity with the 9♦ turn, as he added another two counterfit outs. However, the 5♣ river only improved Serock to a full house and Zevola exited a few minutes prior to the dinner break.
Diogo Coelho bet 210,000 in the cutoff on a flop of 7♦10♠8♠ and Daniel Zadok called in the big blind.
Both players checked the 3♦ turn and Zadok then led out for 650,000 on the 10♦ river.
Coelho called and Zadok showed 6♠4♥ for a bluff. Coelho turned over K♣Q♣ as he took the pot with king-high.
Nicolas Vayssieres was all in from the button against Robert Renaud in the cutoff, who had him covered.

Vayssieres had run into aces and couldn't hit his two-outer as the board ran out 8♦2♣6♠10♦J♣ to mark his elimination in one of the last hands before dinner break.

Once players come back from dinner, the blinds will be at Level 29 — 100,000/150,000 with a 150,000 big blind ante.

The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.
Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.
There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.
