Moura Gets Latinois to Fold

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Jason Sagle made it 2,200,000 on the button and Gabriel Moura three-bet to 6,500,000 in the small blind. Jonathan Tamayo in the big blind folded and so did Sagle, as the Brazilian rail started chanting again.

Malo Latinois then raised to 2,000,000 from under the gun soon after to claim the blinds and big blind ante.

Gabriel Moura joined the raising squad for the minimum in the next hand and Latinois in the big blind was the only caller.

The J94 flop was checked by Latinois and Moura continued for 1,500,000. Latinois called.

Both players checked the Q turn and the 10 came on the river. Latinois checked again and Moura now fired a bet worth 6,300,000. That sent his opponent deep into the tank and Latinois eventually settled for a fold.

Chip Leaders Foxen and Astedt Involved in Pots

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Joe Serock opened for 2,200,000 on the button and was called by Niklas Astedt in the big blind. The 56Q flop was checked through before Astedt led for 1,500,000 on the 2 turn.

Serock called and the 7 fell on the river. Astedt continued with a big bet of 7,000,000, receiving a quick fold from his opponent.

On the next hand, Kristen Foxen raised to 2,000,000 in the hijack and Diogo Coelho defended his big blind. Foxen continued for 1,500,000 on the 932 flop and won when Coelho gave up his hand

On the next deal, Jason James raised to 2,200,000 in the cutoff and Astedt called in the seat next to him. James checked to his opponent on the 6JJ flop and Astedt checked behind.

The J turn brought the third jack on the board, prompting James to bet 2,500,000. Astedt let his cards go and the chips were shipped to James.

One for James; Two for Kim

Jason James opened to 2,200,000 from early position and Andres Gonzalez called from the small blind. Gonzalez check-folded to a bet on the QJ7 flop.

On the next deal, Brian Kim made it 2,300,000 and Joe Serock called from the big blind. Kim continued for 1,500,000 on the 1022 flop and Serock got out of the way.

Diogo Coelho raised to 2,000,000 from early position before Kim three-bet to 4,200,000 from the hijack. Coelho conceded the pot.

Kim Wins in Blinds as Coelho Leaves Himself Short

Yegor Moroz limped in from the small blind, after which Brian Kim made it 3,400,000 to go in the big blind. Moroz called to see the 32A flop.

Moroz checked-folded to Kim's bet of 2,500,000 as the two ended up even in chips.

The next hand, Niklas Astedt raised to 2,000,00 in the hijack before Diogo Coelho put in a small three-bet to 4,500,000 in the cutoff.

Astedt thought for a while before putting Coelho all in for 19,300,000. The Portuguese player quickly mucked his cards, leaving himself with 14 big blinds.

Sagle Slow Plays Aces

Jason Sagle picked up AA raised to 2,500,000 in the small blind. Gabriel Moura called in the big blind holding A2.

Sagle checked on the flop of 7106 and Moura checked back. Sagle checked again on the 4 turn and Moura also checked.

Sagle then bet 4,000,000 on the J river and Moura folded.

The KJ8 flop gave both players gutshots and Sanchez Otero remained ahead. Sagle picked up more outs with the 6 turn and got there eventually with the 7 river to eliminate Sanchez Otero in 16th place for $450,400.

Foxen Takes the Chip Lead with 16 Remaining

Kristen Foxen opened to 2,000,000 from the hijack and action folded to Diogo Coelho in the big blind. He took his time before three-betting to 7,500,000. Foxen called to set up the 16,500,000 pot.

Coelho continued for 4,100,000 on the Q94 flop and was called. The turn brought in the 8 turn and Coelho sized up to 7,500,000 and again Foxen called.

With nearly 40,000,000 in the middle heading to the 7 river, Coelho slowed down and checked. Foxen quickly checked behind.

Coelho's AK was no good as Foxen found her three-outer and took in the pot with AQ.

Angelov Takes from Latinois

Boris Angelov opened to 2,200,000 on the button and Malo Latinois called in the big blind.

Latinois checked on the flop of 73Q and and Angelov continued for 3,000,000. Latinois laid it down.

Foxen Gains Chips; Astedt Leads to Take Lead

Diogo Coelho raised to 2,000,000 in early position and Kristen Foxen called on the button. The flop fell 8106 and was checked by both. Coelho then bet 2,200,000 on the 8 turn and Foxen called.

The 5 river was knuckled down again, and Foxen's AQ was the better ace-high at showdown, winning from Coelho's A2.

The next hand, Joe Serock raised his button to 2,100,000 and Niklas Astedt defended his big blind. Astedt checked the 273 flop, after which Serock bet 1,400,000. Astedt called and the 6 turn rolled off.

Astedt decided to lead out for 3,500,000 and received an instant fold from Serock, resulting in Astedt taking over the tournament chip lead from his opponent.
