St Jacques Takes Down a Five-Way Pot

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Player in the early position opened to 165,000 and got called by Ray St James in the cutoff, the button and table chip-leader Fuat Temiz in the small blind. The big blind had a very short stack of just over 100,000 chips and just called all in.

The flop was 886 and after a check from Temiz, early position continued for 300,000. St Jacques raised to 700,000, getting Temiz to fold, as well as the early position.

Big blind: K4
Ray St Jacques: Ax8x

St Jacques caught the 6 on the turn for the full house, leaving the big blind drawing dead and taking down a decent-sized pot.

Kite Hits the River to Survive

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Walan Kite moved all in out of the hijack position and a player at the cutoff immediately called to put Kite at risk.

The players on the button and the two blinds folded, and the cards were tabled.

Walan Kite: KQ All in
Opponent: JJ

“Classic race,” Kite said.

The dealer fanned 43A on the flop, keeping Kite’s opponent in the lead. A blank hit the turn, and Kite got up out of his seat to pack his belongings, appearing resigned to his exit.

Not so fast, though, as the K on the river gave Kite a pair of kings and the winning hand.

“Brutal river card,” a player at the table said as Kite retook his seat.

Sevilha Steals with a Flush

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

The cutoff raised and the button moved all in for around 200,000. Both the blinds called and the cutoff added a few to chips to the pot to take it four ways to the flop.

The dealer brought the all diamond J32 board and all players checked to the K turn.

There were quick checks all around, taking the four players to the 6 river, bringing in a flush on the board.

No further action was made and button, who was at risk, showed J10. Regina Sevilha in the big blind flipped over her hand and had a 4 which gave her the higher flush, knocking out the button. The other players mucked.

After the hand the button stood from the table and said "I was happy to see all diamonds".
