Dahari Lives on Broadway

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Adi Dahari caught lightning in a bottle not once, but twice.

And it happened in consecutive hands.

In the first hand, Ali was all in as a short stack and action picked up on a board showing 8KJ. It was three-way action and Ali and another player were at risk after a bigger stack called to create a side pot.

Adi Dahari: Q10 All in
All-in Player Two: K5 All in
Calling Player: KQ

The Ax on the turn gave Dahari the nut straight, and then 5x on the river secured the main pot for Dahari and the side pot to the second all-in player.

On the very next hand, a player under the gun moved all in and action folded to Dahari, who was in the big blind.

Dahari peeled back his cards and immediately moved all in to put himself at risk again.

Adi Dahari: KQ All in
Opponent: AQ

The dealer fanned A10J, giving Dahari his second straight Broadway straight. The 10 on the turn and 3 on the river officially provided Dahari another double up.

Dermendjian Profits with Set

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Victor Dermendjian called a raise in the big blind from a player in late position of 300,000. The flop came out 5810 and Dermendjian checked and the late position player bet 275,000, Dermendjian three-bet to 650,000 and the late position player moved all in for 2,000,000. Dermendjian made the call without hesitation.

Victor Dermendjian: 55 All in
Late position: A7

The late position player joked, "If you are going to report this, please say I had aces".

The turn K and the river 9 did not improve the late position and Dermendjian won with his set of fives.

Yang Wins With the Kicker

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The button moved all in for around 975,000 and got a call from Hai-Li Yang in the small blind.

Button: A8All in
Hai-Li Yang: AK

Yang was just ahead and things stayed that way on the AA5 flop as both players sat with trip aces but Yang with the king kicker. Although there was a small sweat of a backdoor flush draw for the button.

The J turn and 10 river sealed the buttons bustout and Yang scooped the pot.

Frantz Finds a Double

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Action folded to the cutoff who raised and Nicholas Frantz moved all in from the small blind for around 820,000. As the dealer was counting Frantz's stack, the cutoff announced "call" and the players flipped their hands.

Nicholas Frantz:KKAll in
Cutoff: J9

The cutoff was looking to improve, and the 47J gave them some hope, but they needed to hit again to get ahead of pocket kings.

The 47 runout didn't improve things for the cutoff, and Frantz held with kings to get the double.
