Cluzel Gets Paid on River

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

This particular table was lucky to have a handsomely dressed Tom McEvoy with a pink dress shirt and a pink cowboy hat sitting at their table but they were all sadly disappointed when he was moved to a new table.

The player in the cutoff raised to 600 and Daniel Cluzel on the button three-bet to 2,100. The big blind and the button both called. The flop came out with QJ9 and everyone checked to Cluzel who bet out 4,000 and only the big blind called.

On the turn 9 the big blind checked again and Cluzel bet again to 5,000 and received the call.

The river 9 had the big blind check and Cluzel moved all in for 16,900 and got the call.

Daniel Cluzel: AA All in
Big blind: Q10

Both players had a full house but Cluzel had the higher one and raked in a nice pot.

Roberts Scoops a Big One

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The pot had already swelled to approximately 23,000 with two players looking at a board of QJ67.

The small blind check-called a small bet of 3,000 from Christian Roberts, in middle position.

The J river saw the small blind play in flow. Roberts moved all in for 12,000 and the small blind was forced to fold.

Renno Correctly Calls with Fourth Pair

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

David Lappin raised to 600 from middle position, receiving calls from both James Renno in the cutoff, and the big blind.

The 10AK flop saw all three players check through to the 3 turn and J river. The big blind took a stab for 1,500, Lappin folded and Renno made a quick call. The big blind chose to muck, while Renno proudly showed 108 for fourth pair.

Hall of Famer McClelland Takes Down a Massive Four-Way All-In

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Jack McClelland
Jack McClelland

Four players saw the flop of 9J3. 6,300 chips were already in the middle when Artem Metalidi bet out 3,000 from the big blind. Chris Walach, who was under the gun, raised to 6,000. Nam Nguyen cold-called the raise from early position. Hall of Famer Jack McClelland then went all in from the button for around 33,000 chips.

Metalidi thought for quite a while before throwing in the call for his entire stack of around 28,000 chips. Walach had much less behind and called as well. Nguyen then said: “Gamble!” and put her chips in the middle as well. She had all the players covered and was the only one in play for McClelland’s bounty.

Chris Walach: QQAll in
Artem Metalidi: 108All in
Jack McClelland: 99All in
Nam Nguyen: AJ

McClelland was ahead with a set of nines, while Walach had the overpair with queens. Nguyen had top pair top kicker and Metalidi was in with the open-ended straight flush draw.

The turn was the A, bringing in some outs for Nguyen, as she could make a full house with an ace or a jack.

The river, however, was the 3 and McClelland’s set held up. Walach and Metalidi were eliminated, while McClelland chipped-up to a massive stack of over 400 big blinds, making it a very long road ahead of anyone hoping to win his bounty.

Paumier Calls Correctly on the River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The player on the button raised to 600 and both blinds came along for the ride which included Matt Paumier in the big blind. The flop came out with 562 and the small blind checked and Paumier came out swinging with a bet of 1,200. The button and the small blind both wanted to see the turn and called.

On the turn J the small blind checked again and Paumier bet again for 2,500 and only the button called.

The river Q had Paumier place the final bet of 3,500 but the button raised to 12,000 and Paumier took a moment to consider what the button had and then made the call.

The button mucked strongly before Paumier even showed his cards which were 1010 for the win.

Watson Goes All-In Blind

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The cutoff raised to 700. The action fell on Mitchell Watson, on the button, who had recently been left short after his pocket kings had run into his opponent's pocket aces. Watson promised the table he would move all in blind this hand, so that's exactly what he did, shoving for approximately 2,000. The cutoff made the call.

Mitchell Watson: 108 All in
Cutoff: K7

Watson was going to need some help, and that's exactly what he received on the 41010 flop. The J turn had his opponent drawing dead and the A river confirmed his small but crucial double up.
