Scott Ball finished the night with the biggest stack in the room at 1,015,000 chips, a stack worth 254 big blinds going into Day 2. Other top stacks at the end of the night include Shaun Deeb (761,000) and Alex Livingston (756,000).
Among the notables to advance to Day 2 are Jesse Lonis (732,000), Ian Matakis (405,000), Alex Foxen (351,000), Ethan Yau (275,000), Dylan Weisman (224,000), Calvin Anderson (199,000) and Yuri Dzivielevski (126,000).

Zachary Reinbold also bagged an above-average stack, finishing the night with 417,000. Reinbold has momentum on his side after a deep run in Event #90: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed, where he finished eighth for $25,719 and will look to follow up that impressive performance with another deep run in this event.
Day 2 begins Tuesday, July 16, at 1 p.m. local time. The action starts at Level 13 with blinds at 2,000/4,000 and a 4,000 big blind ante. The plan is to play ten hour-long levels with a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break scheduled after Level 16 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Players will be entering Day 2 close to the money bubble, with 134 returning and the top 127 players being guaranteed at least a min-cash of $6,021.

Action was caught after the turn of K♦J♥6♥2♦ Anderson Ireland fired for 14,000 from the small blind. Chino Rheem made the call from the cutoff.
The river was the 3♥ and Ireland continued for 30,000. Rheemo went into the tank before he made the fold and showed A♠A♣J♦3♦. Ireland revealed A♥K♠Q♥4♠ while also playfully adding that he "didn't know who [Chino] was."

The flop came Q♣8♦5♠ and the blinds checked. Middle position fired for 6,000 and received a call from the button.
While the 7♣ peeled off on the turn, middle position checked to Daniel Hachem. He blasted for 20,000 and received a call.
Middle Position checked on the J♠ that completed the board. Hachem continued for 23,000 and received a call. He revealed K♠7♠6♣4♥ to take the pot.

Caleb Furth opened to 6,500 from the cutoff, and Nacho Barbero defended from the big blind.
The flop came K♠J♠9♣, and Barbero check-called a 9,000 continuation bet from Furth.
Barbero checked again on the 2♦ turn. Furth bet 30,000, but this time, Barbero opted to fold.

With two players seeing a board of 9♥6♦3♦ and 79,500 in the middle Ian Matakis bet 79,500 from the small blind and was called by an opponent in the hijack.
On the Q♣ turn Matakis shoved for his remaining stack of 101,500. His opponent, who covered him, made the call.

Matakis had the best made hand but had to fade a lot of outs from his opponent who had top pair, a flush draw and a straight draw. The 3♥ river improved Matakis to two pair and he collected a massive double up through his opponent.
