Blain Spikes River to Double off Demirel

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After a preflop betting war, all of the chips got inot the middle between Tolga Demirel and Dermot Blain, with Blain at risk.

Dermot Blain: AAJ2All in
Tolga Demirel: Q1097

"Oh wow, nice hand," Blain even said to Demirel, even though he held the technically superior hand.

The flop of 7J2 gave Blain two pair, but also gave Demirel a ton of outs. Sure enough, the turn 8 gave Demirel the nut straight with nine-ten, but the river was the miracle J to give Bain a full house to take the pot.
