Joyce Runs into it

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Toby Joyce raised to 800 from early position, and was three-bet by Michael Shi in the cutoff, who chose a sizing of 3,000, and Joyce made the call.

Both players checked the 573 flop, then Joyce decided to lead for 2400 when the 6 peeled off on the turn. Shi made the call.

Joyce led for a second time on the river K, and Shi snap called. Joyce reluctantly showed QJ for a queen-high bluff, as Shi tabled AA and scooped in the pot.

Trevidy's River Bet Gets Fold from Kornuth

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Richard Scardina limped from under the gun, and Ewen Trevidy raised to 600 next to act. That was met with a three-bet from Chance Kornuth in middle position to 2,000. Scardina folded, but Trevidy called.

The flop came 10106 and when action checked to him, Kornuth continued for 2,500. Trevidy made the call.

The K fell on the turn, and Trevidy once again checked. This time, Kornuth bet 8,500. Trevidy stuck around again with a call.

The river came with the 7 and Trevidy didn't check this time. He decided to lead out for 17,000. Kornuth released his hand, and Trevidy won the pot.

Lee Gets Back Above Starting

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Following an under the gun raise to 600, Thomas Middleton made it 2,400 from the button and was called only by Christopher Lee in the big blind.

On a flop of 482 Lee checked to Middleton, who bet out for 4,500. Lee made the call.

The turn 10 prompted Middleton to size up, this time to 12,000, and Lee once again made the call.

He then checked for a third time when the river came 5, and Middleton elected against a triple-barrel, and checked back. Lee flipped over 66 which was good enough to take in the pot.
