In the very first hand of the $10,000 Mystery Bounty Event, Tony Sinishtaj opened on the button to 600. Thomas Cazayous three-bet from the small blind to 2,100. The big blind got out of the way, allowing Sinishtaj to four-bet to 7,600. Cazayous came along for the call.

On a flop of 1042 Cazayous checked his action, and Sinishtaj opted for a continuation-bet of 5,000, which was swiftly called.

The turn 2 paired the board. Yet again, Cazayous checked and Sinishtaj sized to 15,000, and Cazayous called.

The river 9 completed the flush draw, and for a final time, Cazayous checked. Within two minutes of having taken his seat, he was then faced with a decision for his tournament life as Sinishtaj shoved for his remaining 32,400. After around two minutes of tanking, Cazayous touched his chips and looked over to Sinishtaj for a reaction. He didn’t get one, yet called, and was shown the bad news, as Sinishtaj’s nut flush with A5 bested his QQ.

Zachary Grech, who had folded 102 from under the gun, sent his “apologies to Doyle Brunson”, whose legendary hand would’ve given him the winner.

Three players at Table 67 took a flop which fell J59. Timothy McDermott checked from the small blind and Matthew Hunt bet 3,500 from the big blind. Dragana Mackelprang called from the cutoff, and McDermott folded.

On the 10, Hunt checked and Mackelprang bet 7,000. Hunt made the call.

The river came the 5 and Hunt checked again. This time Mackelprang fired out for 17,000. Hunt flicked in the call and Mackelprang showed him the bad news when she revealed the 65 for a rivered trips.

Straddle on at Table 66

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Zachary Grech got the table to agree to a round of unofficial straddles, meaning the under-the-gun player will blind-raise to 600 for an orbit.

Two hands into the straddle round, Christopher Lee called the 600 in the small blind and Grech bumped it up to 2,000 in the big blind. The straddler, Leonardo Rizzo, folded as Lee came along.

Lee checked on the flop of 9K7 and Grech continued for 2,200. Lee called. Both players then checked on the 10 turn.

Lee then led out with a bet of around 6,000 on the 8 river and Grech laid it down.
