Siegel Finds a Five for a Double Up

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Jordan Siegel
Jordan Siegel

Jordan Siegel went all in for his last 1,020,000 from under the gun. Joe Cada reshoved from the small blind. The action was then on Yosef Fox in the big blind, who started to think. He went over his options.
"I'm going to lose the flip to you, Joe", he told Cada, before folding.

Jordan Siegel: A5 All in
Joe Cada: AK

Cada looked to be in great shape for the knockout, but the 9529J runout meant that Siegel doubled up instead.

Fox Gets His Wish

In a heads-up pot on a board of 810QQ, Yosef Fox moved all in and Patrick Kennedy called off with the effective stack of around 1,700,000.

Patrick Kennedy: QJ All in
Yosef Fox: KQ

Kennedy was dominated but had outs to a flush that left Fox yelling "red!" Unfortunately, he got his wish as the dealer put down the J river to improve Kennedy to a full house.

"That's the game," Fox said stoically. "That's why I love this game. If I was out, it would be a different story."

Myles Mullaly Eliminated in 8th Place ($69,964)

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Myles Mullaly
Myles Mullaly

In some blind on blind violence, Myles Mullaly limped from the small before calling James Mendoza's raise to 425,000 in the big.

On a flop of 2103 Mullaly checked over to Mendoza, who placed a continuation-bet of 575,000 in front of his stack, which Mullaly called.

The turn brought in the 2 and once again Mullaly checked. Mendoza announced "all in", and Mullaly snapped him off, flipping his cards over instantly.

Myles Mullaly: A3 All in
James Mendoza: K9

Mendoza was in desperate need of a diamond to claim a bounty, and the dealer answered his prayers with the 7 river, sending Mullaly packing in eighth.

The floor offered Mendoza the option of waiting to open his bounty or doing so instantly. He wanted to put his fate in his own hands, and opened his chest on the spot. He was rewarded with $10,000
