Two Doubles as Fox Takes Lead

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Yosef Fox
Yosef Fox

Christian Roberts called an early position raise and Jordan Siegel three-bet to 900,000 with just a 5,000 chip behind from the cutoff. The intial raiser folded and Roberts re-raised. Siegel called for 5,000 more.

Jordan Siegel: AK All in
Christian Roberts: 99

The board ran out J10KKJ to give Siegel kings full of jacks for an emphatic double.

"I'm playing the board," said Roberts.

At the next table, a pot brewed between Richard Green and Yosef Fox. Green checked the flop of 682 and Fox bet 200,000. Green check-raised and Fox three-bet all in for 2,970,000. Green snapped with a bigger stack.

Yosef Fox: 1010 All in
Richard Green: A5

"Hold! Black. Black. Yes!" Fox cheered as the board finished out 87 to keep his overpair ahead for a big double into the chip lead.

Roberts Finds Double

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Christian Roberts shoved from the button, and James Mendoza made the call from the big blind.

Christian Roberts: A10 All in
James Mendoza: K5

The runout was an interesting J65AK as Mendoza made kings and fives, but Roberts' flush was enough to keep him in the tournament.

Texas Mike Goes Digging for Diamonds

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Michael Moncek
Michael Moncek

Having just won a sizeable pot against Yosef Fox the hand before, Frank Lagodich raised it to 120,000 from under the gun. Michael Moncek, who was next to act, took no time to think before making a huge 13x shove, for 1,630,000. Action folded all the way around to Lagodich, who empathetically flipped over his cards, letting Moncek know that he really did have it, before making the call.

Michael Moncek: AJ All in
Frank Lagodich: AA

Despite being a huge underdog, Moncek got about the best flop he could've asked for, in 4J5. Searching for a jack or a backdoor flush, he got one step closer to the latter on the 5 turn, and miraculously made it on the 7 river to crack Lagodich's pocket rockets.

Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino shoved on top of Michael Moncek's preflop raise, and got snapped off by Moncek when action folded back to him.

Dario Sammartino: AJ All in
Michael Moncek: AK

Sammartino was searching for a jack and a jack only, however, it wasn't to be as the final 573104 came ten-high, offering him no chance to stay alive.

Stefan Stoll Eliminated in 17th Place ($28,024)

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Stefan Stoll
Stefan Stoll

In a heads-up pot on a board of 1086Q, Stefan Stoll checked and Myles Mullaly bet 200,000. Stoll called.

Stoll checked again on the blank river and Mullaly moved all in. Stoll gave it some thought and called with his stack of around 600,000.

Mullaly showed 1010 for a set of tens and Stoll showed a no-good J8 as he was sent to the rail ahead of the two-table redraw.
