PokerNews updates will follow on a one-hour delay to match the PokerGO stream, which begins at approximately 2 p.m. local time.
After three action-packed days of poker, just five players remain in Event #14: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha / No-Limit Hold'em at the 2025 World Series of Poker. What began with 245 entries at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas has been whittled down to the final five, each chasing the gold bracelet and a $1,302,233 top prize from a massive $5,757,500 prize pool.
Leading the way is Ben Lamb, who will return with a gigantic stack of 17,140,000, which is good for 71 big blinds and nearly half the chips in play. Lamb’s comeback story was one of the highlights on Day 3, as he went from just two big blinds with 14 left to bagging a massive lead.
| Seat | Player | Country | Chip Count | Big Blinds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Chongxian Yang | China | 5,170,000 | 22 |
| 2 | Brandon Mitchell | United States | 3,160,000 | 13 |
| 3 | Robert Cowen | United Kingdom | 4,535,000 | 19 |
| 4 | Lou Garza | United States | 6,650,000 | 28 |
| 5 | Ben Lamb | United States | 17,140,000 | 71 |
Joining Lamb on center stage is Lou Garza, who returns second in chips with 6,650,000. Garza, already a WSOP bracelet winner in pot-limit Omaha, is the only player within striking distance of Lamb, and an early double-up could flip the script in a hurry.
Rounding out the top three is China’s Chongxian Yang with 5,170,000. Two-time bracelet winner Robert Cowen (4,535,000) and Brandon Mitchell (3,160,000) are the short stacks, each returning with less than 20 big blinds. All three will be hoping to play spoiler to Lamb’s comeback run and secure the victory themselves.
Action resumes at 1 p.m. local time on June 5 with blinds at 120,000/240,000. All remaining players have locked up $303,773, but all eyes will be on the seven-figure top prize and the WSOP gold bracelet.
