Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Pot-Limit Omaha

Chris Hunichen raised to 18,000 in early position and Isaac Kempton defended from the big blind. The flop fell 1042 and Kempton led out with a bet of 35,000. Hunichen called and the J rolled off on the turn.

Both players checked this time and the 4 paired the board on the river. Kempton led out with a small bet of 30,000 and Hunichen raised the maximum to 212,000. Kempton looked him up and Hunichen showed JJ109 for the best full house.

"Should've just showed the jack-ten," Philip Sternheimer said from across the table.

"I would've," Shaun Deeb, the king of slowrolls, piped in.

Harder Doubles First Hand

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Christian Harder raised the pot to 28,000 in early position and Levon Khachatryan called from a couple of seats over. They went heads-up to a flop of A83 and Harder potted again with a bet of 76,000. Khachatryan shoved all in and Harder called off his stack of 122,000.

Levon Khachatryan: KJ99

Harder flopped top pair but Khachatryan had a flush draw to hit. He also picked up a straight draw on the 7 turn card but the Q on the river only improved Harder to two pair. Khachatryan was left with just 20,000 after the hand and was eliminated shortly after.

Pot-Limit Omaha

An action-packed pre-flop saw a limp from the hijack before the button raised to 27,000. Jared Bleznick elected to call in the small blind only to see the big blind, Chad Eveslage, pot to 114,000. The hijack and button got out of the way, but Bleznick called again.

Bleznick then took over the betting lead, putting his opponent all in on the 1058 flop. Eveslage called, and players flipped their cards.

Jared Bleznick: 10876

The turn Q and river K were no help to Eveslage as Bleznick pulled in the pot with two pair.
