Adam Hendrix: 99 All in

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Chino (David) Rheem

Action was heads-up on a completed board: K7524. Vid Zagar, first to speak in the big blind, decided to go all in on the bubble.

Chino Rheem from the cutoff went into the tank with around 450,000 behind. Rheem looked straight at Zagar once more, but ultimately decided to fold. Zagar took the chips from the middle and showed his 3.

Wang's Aces No Match for Lonis Run-Good

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jesse Lonis
Jesse Lonis

Hand-for-hand action was picked up with Yuzhu Wang all in and at risk from early position for 334,000 against Jesse Lonis in the big blind.

Yuzhu Wang: AA All in
Jesse Lonis: 65

As the players waited for the hand to play out, Lonis told Wang, "You have my flush covered. I'm basically dead." The reverse jinx worked as the dealer spread an ice-cold flop of J65. Wang remained in good spirits despite his tournament life hanging in the balance. Unfortunately for him, the dealer provided no assistance on the K turn or Q river, eliminating Wang on the soft bubble.
