Gue and Yohannes are Eliminated; Blodgett and Hudson Chip Up

Action was followed from when the cards were already on their backs and Muruz Yohannes was all in and at risk. He was against Zachary Hudson who was to his direct left.

Yohannes needed to improve against Hudsons Aces, but he found no luck on the 6♦Q♠10♦5♣8♣ board.

At the same time, one table across, Jason Blodgett was on the button and in a hand heads-up against Pierre Gue who was in the big blind.

The players were already looking at 3♥A♦6♥5♦3♣ and the pot stood at around 6,150,000 with action to play on the river.

Gue moved all in for 5,200,000 and the action went to Blodgett. He tanked for around two minutes before the clock was called. He had 30-seconds to make a decision and eventually made the call.

The dealer called for the cards to be flipped.

Blodgett took the pot with a pair of sevens and Gue was eliminated.

Anish Vithlani raised to 1,500,000 from the cutoff, and James Morris announced a call but then tried to shove his whole stack in. The table corrected him, and some discussion ensued. After a while, Morris made the call and announced he was going all-in anyways on the flop. But there was still action to follow. The rest of the table folded.

The flop came A♣5♠4♠ and all the chips went in with Morris at risk for his last remaining 625,000.

Morris had flopped top pair.

The rest of the board was completed with the 3♠ on the turn and the 8♠ on the river for both players to hit a flush but for Vithlani to hit the higher one to bust Morris.

As soon as Morris had walked away from the table, the other players all celebrated and complimented Vithlani, who even fist-bumped the dealer.

Duong flopped best on 2♣A♦5♥, but Leng retaliated on the 7♠ turn as his set left Duong without any outs. The 2♦ river was rendered meaningless as Duong was sent to the rail.

Henkel Busts and Ravail Regains

Matthew Glantz opened the hijack to 2,500,000 and Christina Henkel moved all in for her remaining 4,825,000 stack from the cutoff.

Action folded to Glantz who snap called, and the players flipped their cards.

Henkel needed to hit to be saved from elimination but missed on the 3♠J♦K♥8♥5♠ runout.

Glantz chipped up to 15,750,000.

In the next hand, Morgan Ravail was forced all in in the big blind for his remaining 150,000.

Pierre Gue limped from the button and Kaiwen Wei folded the small blind.

Ravail let out a cheer after seeing a jack on the J♦5♦3♣ flop and he doubled up, after the A♠5♣ completed the board. Taking him up to 450,000.

Ravail got another double in the next hand in the small blind against Rodrigo Zouvi in the big blind.

Ravail was calling for "no eight" and held on the 6♥Q♦9♣9♥K♣ runout.

After the three hands, Ravail had chipped up to 1,300,000.

Soon after passing some chips, Zouvi was seen walking away from the table having busted just a few hands later.

Adam Croffut had put in his final 75,000 chips from early position. Andrew Tang then rejammed for about 4,300,000 from the hijack, and Stavros Petychakis called off his stack of 3,400,000 in the hijack.

Table chipleader Ramaswamy Pyloore was in the small blind, calling to put the other three players at risk of elimination.

Tang shot ahead on the 10♦3♦Q♥ flop with his pair of queens. The 5♠ turn had Croffut drawing dead, while the J♦ river provided Pyloore with one of two outs to take down the pot and knock out all three players, much to the amazement of the many onlookers that had gathered.

Morris Reluctantly Folds

At the end of the previous level, Rena Varghese raised to 1,000,000 from the middle position and called by James Morris in the cutoff.

They both checked through the K♣5♥Q♥ on the flop to the 2♦ on the turn. Varghese announced a bet of 2,000,000 but only put out one chip of 500,000. The rest of the table corrected her and she added on three more chips but Morris didn't agree and asked for a ruling.

He claimed he heard her announce "two" but only put out one chip. The floor listened to his claim and ruled as the minimum bet was 400,000, the bet of 2,000,000 was what is was. Morris shook his head, looked at his cards, counted out his stack, and then reluctantly folded.
