Dinner Time

Level 41 : Blinds 1,200,000/2,500,000, 2,500,000 ante

The 16 remaining players have been sent on a 60-minute dinner break. It has been announced to them that an extra day has been added to the tournament; Day 3 will play down to the final table of nine.

The action is expected to resume around 6:40 p.m. local time.

Ray Albarado: 55

Both sitting with pocket pairs, Albarado wanted to improve to bust Gutierrez.

Neither player picked anything up on the 7QJ1010 runout and Gutierrez's nines were good enough to double him up in the last hand before the dinner break.

Riley Dieckhoff raised to 5,000,000 from late position. Ramaswamy Pyloore pushed in a three-bet when it had folded to him in the big blind, after which Dieckhoff quickly put his stack of 39,900,000 in the middle.

Pyloore weighed his options for a bit, then called with a covering stack.

Riley Dieckhoff: JJ All in
Ramaswamy Pyloore: AQ

Pyloore had Dieckhoff drawing to a chop after the 5432 turn gave the former a straight. Pyloore's wheel held up on the 8 river, and he eliminated Dieckhoff in a massive flip.

Matt Glantz open-jammed from under the gun for his remaining 21,900,000 stack. Sergei Petrushevskii was in the hijack and took some time before asking for a recount of Glantz's chips, as he was sitting with 21,800,000. After around two minutes, Petrushevskii made the call.

Matt Glantz: KJ

Petrushevskii was ahead pre-flop, and things stayed that way on the Q79 flop.
