Westmorland Putting Pressure on

Level 26 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jordan Westmorland has picked up a towering stack in the shootout, and is putting it to good use.

Tian Liu raised to 80,000 from middle position. Tzur Levy, next to act, bumped up the price of poker to 210,000. On his direct left, Westmorland was the third consecutive player to act, and announced a four-bet to 450,000.

Without too much thought, his opponents both folded, and Westmorland's stack continues to rise.

Westmorland Rips it in

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

After a raise from Luis Yepez Carmona to 65,000 from middle position, and a flat from small blind Tzur Levy, Jordan Westmorland peeled his cards in the big blind, and replaced the 30,000 he already had in the middle with a three-bet 285,000. He was met with some resistance, as Yepez Carmona took his time before pushing in a four-bet to 650,000.

Levy released his cards, and Westmorland five-bet ripped his whole stack into the middle, and Yepez Carmona reacted by snap-folding his hole cards, leaving Westmorland to bring in a massive pot without seeing any community cards.

Song Scoops Sizeable Pot

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Tian Liu opened to 65,000 from middle position, and only Linyang Song on the button paid to see a flop, with both blinds getting out of the way.

The flop came down 496 and Liu opted against a continuation-bet as he checked it over to Song. He wouldn't see a free turn, however, as Song placed 50,000 into the middle, an amount which was called by Liu.

The turn brought in the K and this time it was Liu who took initiative, and placed a single blue 100,000 chip into the middle. Song continued to show aggression, though, and bumped it up to 280,000. For a second street running, Liu placed in a call.

He then checked the 6 river over to Song, who bet out for a third street, this time for 485,000. Liu didn't snap call, nor did he fold, as he took his time to think over his options. After rechecking his cards, Liu flicked in a chip then mucked his cards as Song showed 44 for a flopped set which improved to a rivered boat.

Liu Bets Big

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Action folded round to Drew Oconnell on the button, who raised it up to 65,000. Tian Liu was his only customer in the big blind.

On a wet flop of QJJ Liu checked in flow over to Oconnell, then called his bet after he sized down to 45,000.

The turn Q double paired the board, and action checked through, bringing in the 9 on the river. Liu decided against checking for a third time, and instead lead out for a huge overbet of 350,000 . Oconnell did some thinking, before deciding to return his cards face down to the dealer.
