The third and final day of Event #20: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em SHOOTOUT at the 2025 World Series of Poker is set to resume at 12 p.m. local time at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. Only 15 players are returning from a field that started with 1,299 competitors, with all eyes set on the $267,373 top prize out of the $1,724,423 prize pool.
Perhaps the biggest name left in the tournament is Punnat Punsri, who is on the hunt for his first gold bracelet. Punsri boasts an impressive resume with over $23,000,000 in total live earnings, including a runner-up finish in the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed at last year's WSOP. He will be looking to avenge that second-place finish by closing this one out.
Another name to look out for on Day 3 is Michael Rossitto. The Italian pro has tallied over $4,000,000 in live earnings over the course of his decorated career and will also be chasing his maiden piece of WSOP hardware.

Due to the number of entries in the event, the third round of the tournament has 15 players remaining on Day 3. Since that exceeds the traditional final table of ten players in the normal shootout format, the final day will play as a regular freezeout tournament. The remaining entrants will start the day with the same amount of chips they accrued advancing from Day 2.
The tournament will resume with blinds at 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 big blind ante and there will be a 15-minute break every three levels, with a dinner break to be determined. The event is scheduled to play until a winner is crowned.
PokerGO will stream the action, beginning at 2 p.m. PDT on a one hour delay. In order to avoid spoilers, live updates will be paused when they begin filming and will resume in sync with the stream.
Be sure to follow PokerNews through the remainder of this event, as well as future coverage throughout the summer.
