Yepez Carmona Sees Brutal Turn

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Luis Yepez Carmona
Luis Yepez Carmona

Action folded to Jason Wheeler on the button, who made it 175,000. Luis Yepez Carmona called from the small blind, and Fred Goldberg got out of the way in the big.

Action checked through on the 910A flop, bringing in the 3 on the turn. Yepez Carmona then check-called a bet of 210,000 from Wheeler, bringing in the 6 river. After a brief pause, Yepez Carmona ended up leading out, with a sizing of 480,000. After a lengthy tank, Wheeler called with 33 showing that he'd hit a two-outer against Yepez Carmona's AJ

The flop came 9A4 and Vazquez check-called a bet of 110,00, bringing the 6 turn.

Vazquez check-called again, this time for 220,000 and the river landed the 5 where action went check-check.

Levy Does it Again

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Very shortly after doubling up, Tzur Levy had chipped back down to just over four big blinds, when he repeated his action of placing all his chips in the middle with the exception of a single 5,000 chip, this time for 340,000. Tian Liu, who had already opened to the minimum from under the gun, placed in a call and revealed 109 early, before the table laughed as they realised he'd now have to play his hand face up.

The 5A3 flop checked through, and Levy then placed his final chip in on the 6 turn. Liu called.

Tian Liu: 109

The river 8 kept Levy alive once again.

Levy Lives On

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Tzur Levy
Tzur Levy

Tzur Levy opened to 365,000 under the gun, leaving a single 5,000 chip behind. Linyang Song made the call, and announced "good luck", ready to flip over his hand, not realising that the two were off to a flop of 23J.

Levy took some time to check the tournament screen and checked it over to Song. Song responded by putting in a single chip, and Levy took some time again, due to the next elimination being a pay jump. Eventually, he took his chances and called.

Tzur Levy: J10 All in
Linyang Song: 77

Levy was way out in the lead, and despite pockets sevens already coming good for Song today, he was unable to improve on the 9Q runout, only just putting Levy on that precious ten big blind mark.
