Koon Stays Alive Again

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jason Koon
Jason Koon

After recent turning his crumbs into 10 big blinds, Jason Koon was all in again on the button for his last 58,000 chips. Keith Lehr re-shoved all in for 171,000 in the small blind and Paulius Vaitiekunas called both players from the big blind.

Jason Koon: K10All in
Keith Lehr: A4All in
Paulius Vaitiekunas: 1010

"I'm gonna flop you guys dead," Koon said to his opponents. The flop came KJJ and while they weren't drawing dead, Koon had his opponents at least drawing slim. The 2 and 7 runout changed nothing and Koon tripled up while Lehr was eliminated.

Petrangelo Finishes the Job

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jared Bleznick
Jared Bleznick

Jared Bleznick raised to 15,000 under the gun, and only Nick Petrangelo called in the big blind.

Bleznick put another bet of 15,000 on the 85Q flop, which Petrangelo check-called.

The 2 didn't change the board much, and Petrangelo check-called again, this time for 54,000.

The river brought the 4 and when checked to, Bleznick fired the third barrel, betting 56,000. Petrangelo wasted next to no time in calling. Bleznick showed 109 for the failed bluff, and Petrangelo turned over 53 for third pair, enough to win the pot.

Bleznick was left with only four big blinds, and the very next hand, Petrangelo would set him all in, blind versus blind.

Jared Bleznick: Q10 All in
Nick Petrangelo: K3

No help was found on the 8K667 board and Bleznick headed to the exit.

Royal for Zobian

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

All the chips went in between Aram Zobian and Galen Hall after Hall led out for 100,000 into a pot of approximately that amount on the board of QA4J10.

Zobian jammed, and Hall called.

Zobian showed KQ for a royal flush to take down the pot and double.

Seidel Bombs the River

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action folded to the blinds, where Erik Seidel called from the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski raised to 18,000 from the big blind. Seidel called.

Seidel check-called a 15,000 bet from Badziakouski on the 86Q flop and then both players checked on the J turn.

The J completed the board and Seidel put 70,000 into the middle.

"Fold," Badziakouski said before tossing his hand into the mucked — conceding the pot to Seidel.

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Wilson Knocks Schwaederle Out

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Simon Wilson opened to 12,000 under the gun, and Jonathan Jaffe called. Cedric Schwaederle called from the big blind.

Schwaederle and Wilson checked on the flop of 37K, which led to a bet of 12,000 from Jaffe. Schwaederle called before Wilson chose to raise to 50,000.

Jaffe folded before Schwaederle jammed for 68,000 total. Wilson shrugged and called to lead to a showdown.

Cedric Schwaederle: KJAll in
Simon Wilson: A5

Schwaederle held the lead, but the 8 turn brought in a backdoor flush opportunity for Wilson.

The 3 completed the backdoor flush awarding the chips to Wilson.

Reard's Eight is Good

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jakob Miegel limped on the button and Alexandre Reard called from the small blind. Chance Kornuth checked his option in the big for a three-way pot.

Everyone checked on the 8Q6 flop and Reard checked again on the 4 turn. Kornuth bet 12,000, which got a fold from Miegel and a call from Reard.

It went check-check on the Q river and Reard showed 87 for queens and eights. Kornuth sent his hand into the muck and Reard padded his stack.

Theologis Faces a River-Raise

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The action folded to Marius Gierse in the small blind who just limped in. Alexandros Theologis raised to 21,000 in the big blind and Gierse called to see a flop of 1043.

Gierse check-called a bet of 12,000 from Theologis and the J landed on the turn. Both players checked and the K hit the river. Gierse checked for the third time and Theologis sized up a bet of 55,000. Gierse check-raised to 190,000 which put Theologis in the tank. After using two of his time banks, Theologis finally dumped his cards into the muck.

Margereson Gets Rheemed by a One-Outer

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Chino Rheem
Chino Rheem

Coming back from the break, Chino Rheem found himself all in and at risk for 261,000. He was called by Scott Margereson who also had the best hand at the time.

Chino Rheem: 1010All in
Scott Margereson: QQ

On top of Rheem holding the inferior pair, Linglin Zeng mentioned that she folded a ten. The flop of 653 did no favors for Rheem and the 9 on the turn didn't help either. However, the 10 on the river was the last ten in the deck and the only one Rheem could hit to stay alive, creating a roar at the table.

Level 7 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jeremy Ausmus raised to 13,000 from the cutoff and Faraz Jaka called all in for his last several thousand from the small blind to put himself at risk.

Faraz Jaka: 84All in
Jeremy Ausmus: K10

Jaka's rags were live, but the 76337 runout kept Ausmus best with his king and Jaka was sent to the rail.
