Spirins Triples, Eibinger Gets the Side, Hall Dried Up

Level 6 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Galen Hall
Galen Hall

A preflop raising war broke out on Table 72 with three players getting all of their money in the middle preflop. Pavels Spirins was the shortest stack with just under 200,000 in front of him. Eibinger was also at risk for an additional 202,000 and Galen Hall had both players covered.

Pavels Spirins: AKAll in
Matthias Eibinger: AQAll in
Galen Hall: 88

The flop came 744 and Hall was still out front with the lone pair in the hand. The 5 on the turn changed nothing but the A on the river got a reaction out of Hall after being rivered. Spirins tripled up, Eibinger scooped the side pot and Hall's heater came to an end.

Rabichow Sends Desnos to the Rail

Level 6 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Kevin Rabichow raised under the gun to 8,000, the player on the button called and when action got to Killian Desnos in the big blind, he moved all in for 68,000.

Rabichow responded by moving all in himself which prompted the player on the button to fold.

Killian Desnos: 1010 All in
Kevin Rabichow: A8

A promising situation for Desnos soon turned bleak as the dealer fanned out the 2A5 flop.

The turn 9 and river J were no help to Desnos and he headed to the exit.

Zeng Sends Chidwick to the Rail

Level 6 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

It was a classic race of pair versus overcards when Linglin Zeng and Stephen Chidwick clashed preflop to put Chidwick at risk.

Stephen Chidwick: 99All in
Linglin Zeng: AQ

Chidwick's nines lost the lead on the JQ5. The K2 turn and river did not offer any solace to knock out Chidwick.

Bujtas Claims a Victim

Level 6 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Robert Natividad was down to just 45,000 chips and pushed all in from under the gun. Laszlo Bujtas reshoved all in from the cutoff and the rest of the table folded.

Robert Natividad: Q10All in
Laszlo Bujtas: 66

The flop of 532 favored Bujtas with a pair of sixes and a straight draw. The 8 on the turn changed nothing and the 4 on the river only improved Bujtas to a straight, bouncing Natividad from the tournament.

Boat over Boat Sinks Matakis

Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A raise to 8,000 by Anatoly Nikitin from under the gun began the action and led to calls from Ian Matakis and Tyler Cornell out of the big blind.

Cornell checked the flop of 1024 before Nikitin fired 10,000. Matakis called, and Cornell folded.

Nikitin continued to bet on the 5 turn for 32,000, which was called by Matakis.

The 2 river paired the board. Nikitin sized up a bet of 100,000, which was met with an all-in from Matakis. Nikitin quickly called.

Matakis showed 44 for a flopped set that turned into a full house in the river, but was dismayed to see the 55 of Nikitn, who turned a higher set and rivered a better full house.

Brits Do Battle

Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

With roughly 30,000 chips already in the middle, Stephen Chidwick and Scott Margereson had been dealt a flop of Q23.

Chidwick checked from the hijack, and Margereson placed out a bet of 9,000. Chidwick sprang into action, check-raising to 45,000, which Margereson called.

The 6 turn landed, and Chidwick executed another check-raise. This time, when checked to Margereson made a bet of 24,000, and Chidwick raised to 65,000. Margereson called, and the pot was getting substantial.

Chidwick didn't slow down on the Q river, moving all in for his opponent's effective stack of 141,000. Margereson snapped, and the cards were tabled.

Scott Margereson: 54 All in
Stephen Chidwick: AQ

Chidwick had rivered three of a kind, but Margereson already had the nut straight on the turn, which gave him the full double up.
