Tice Spikes Two-Outer to Leave Maimone Short

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Nick Maimone raised to 50,000 in middle position. Landon Tice then reraised on the button to 150,000. The dealer then accidentally exposed the entire muck. Both players got a look at the dead cards, before Maimone made the call.

The flop came Q4Q and Maimone checked. Tice bet 90,000, and faced a raise from Maimone to 225,000. Tice then threw in one chip and said raise. The dealer calculated the minimum raise to be 360,000. It didn't matter much, as Maimone pretty quickly moved all in, and Tice called.

Landon Tice: KK All in
Nick Maimone: 44

Tice could have been out the door, but the K came on the turn and with the J river, he was the winner of the pot and got a huge double up.

Soverel The Bubble Boy

Level 12 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Brian Rast
Brian Rast

Brian Rast raised from early position to 40,000, and Sam Soverel three-bet all in for his remaining 240,000. Rast snap called:

Sam Soverel: AKAll in
Brian Rast: AA

It was looking grim for Soverel, and barring some miracle, he would be eliminated in 52nd place.

The flop came 228, which gave Soverel no help, but he did pick up a chop out when the 2 fell on the turn. No deuce on the river when the 10 fell and Soverel was sent packing as the bubble boy.
