Bujtas Left on Fumes

Level 15 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Laszlo Bujtas raised under the gun to 80,000, and only Chang Lee called from the button.

The duo both checked the J48 flop before seeing the Q turn. Bujtas checked again, and Lee took the invitation to bet, doing so for 80,000, which Bujtas called.

Bujtas checked for a third time on the 6 river, but Lee didn't slow down. This time, he placed a bet of 175,000. This was for most of his opponents' stack, but crucially, not all of it.

Bujtas threw in a reluctant call and was shown the bad news. Lee turned over KQ for top-pair, and Bujtas returned his cards face-down to the dealer.

Collopy was dominated by Kisacikoglu's higher pair. The Q105 flop and 7 turn changed nothing. Collopy was left with two outs, and he hit one of them on the 6 river to be awarded a lucky double-up.

Hemyari Joins the Payout Queue

Level 15 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

With roughly 250,000 already in the pot, Georgios Sotiropoulos and Keyavash Hemyari were looking at a board of 102KQ.

Hemyari, in the big blind, check-called a bet of 130,000, leaving himself roughly the same behind.

When the river 5 was revealed, Hemyari checked again. Sotiropoulos set him all in, and Hemyari made a dejected call.

Sure enough, Sotiropoulos turned over two-pair, Q10, which was enough to send Hemyari to the rail, who turned over K8.
