2025 World Series of Poker
Action was picked up on a completed board of 2♠J♣A♥9♣4♥ and a pot of about 25,000 with two players in the hand.
Virgile Turchi, in cutoff, was deep in thought considering what to do. He finally announced all-in and, his opponent on the button, Ravi Raghavan, with only around 19,000 snap called.
Turchi showed A♣Q♣ for top pair on the flop but Raghavan flipped over A♦4♦ for a rivered two-pair. The dealer was about to ship his chips over, when Raghavan caught his stack in time.
Turchi matched his stack and the dealer correctly shipped the chips towards Raghavan's direction.
Ivan Starostin was all in and at risk from the cutoff for 7,900 and was called by Michael Linster in the big blind.
Ivan Starostin: K♦J♥
Michael Linster: A♥4♥
The board ran out A♦Q♦3♦, providing a real sweat for Starostin, unfortunately for him, the dealer placed the 9♣ on the turn and the Q♠ on the river, sending Starostin to the rail.
Lei Yu kicked things off with a raise to 2,500 from middle position, and Daniel Lazrus made the call from late position. Jamie Dwan, short-stacked on the button, moved all in for his last 1,800.
The flop came 2♥A♠9♠, and Yu continued with a bet of 3,000. Lazrus called, building a side pot.
On the 10♥ turn, Yu reached for chips, possibly intending a smaller bet, but put out 15,000. Without a word, the bet stood. Lazrus responded by raising, and Yu ended up calling off his remaining 10,200 chips. With all three players at risk in some way, the cards were turned up.
Jamie Dwan: Q♠10♠
Lei Yu: A♥J♥
Daniel Lazrus: A♠Q♥
Both Yu and Lazrus had top pair, but Lazrus held the better kicker. Dwan had a flush draw and a pair of tens for backup. When the 4♠ landed on the river, Dwan spiked his flush to take the main pot and stay alive. Yu was eliminated, while Lazrus scooped up the sizable side pot.
All of the action occurred preflop with the hijack, Benjamin Luber raised to 25,000, and Spencer Champlin moved all in from the button for 38,000. Luber made the call.
Spencer Champlin: A♥Q♦
Benjamin Luber: K♣K♥
Right out of the gate, Champlin received a very lucrative board with A♦A♣7♣7♠2♠, and Champlin dragged in a nice pot with his full house.
Julien Sitbon opened for 6,200 in late position and got an 11,500 three-bet from the man immediately to his left, Cesar Del Pino. Sitbon called taking them to the flop.
Sitbon check-called Del PIno's bet of 5,900 on the flop of 2♠3♠8♥. Both players checked the 7♦ turn.
After a check from Sitbon on the river 5♦, Del Pino announced all-in for 39,100 sending his opponent to the tank. Sitbon laid out his chips, drank some water and scratched his head numerous times before staring at the unmoving Del Pino.
After a few seconds he made the call and mucked, visible frustrated, when he saw Del Pino turn over Q♥Q♦. He flipped over A♥2♥ and left the table as Del Pino scooped the pot.
In the pot were around 40,000, and the flop showed Q♦8♥4♣. Alejandro Rosales was already all in with no chips behind, but Atanas Pavlov in the big blind bet 7,500 on the flop and got a call from the under the gun position, Thomas Cazayous.
Both players, who were still able to act, checked the A♦ turn.
On the Q♠ river, Pavlov went all in with around 48,000, prompting Cazayous to fold. Pavlov secured the side pot already, but for the main pot, it went to showdown. Pavlov showed A♥A♣ for a full house, and Rosales mucked his cards, but as he was all in, the dealer turned his cards, revealing 7♣7♦, and Rosales was sent packing.
Jennifer Breckenridge limped from the small blind and got a raise of 3,000 from big blind Gabriel Moura.
The dealer flopped Q♣7♣7♠ and Breckenridge led with a 4,500 bet which Moura called. Breckenridge fired another 5,000 on the 2♦ turn prompting Moura to check how much Breckenridge had behind. Breckenridge, who was shuffling her remaining chips worth less that 20,000, fixed her stack for Moura to check. Moura flat called.
The river 8♠ got another 5,000 from Breckenridge and Moura just called. Breckenridge showed Q♥6♥ for a flopped pair and Moura turned over Q♦9♦. With kicker playing, Moura took the pot down.

Matthew Hunt: K♣K♥
The board ran out A♦4♥Q♦3♣3♠, securing a nice win for Hunt and sending Zherebchenko to the rail.
Matthew Sasko raised from early position to 2,500, John Oneal called from the cutoff, and Paul Carney flat called from the big blind. The dealer flopped out K♠4♣2♥ and Sasko placed the continuation bet of 5,700 after Carney checked. Oneal got out of the way, and Carney called.
Both players checked the turn 5♠ and on the river 6♦, Carney seized the opportunity to place a big bet of 27,000. Sasko thought for a few minutes and made the call. Carney showed A♥3♣ for the straight, and Sasko mucked.
