Milliard Check-Shoves; Yau Takes His Seat

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

There were around 10,000 chips in the pot on a 34Q9 board when Julian Milliard checked the hijack, and Aliaksandr Hirs fired around 7,500 from the button. Milliard took some time before he shoved for close to 37,000, and Hirs quickly folded.

Ethan Yau has just taken his seat at the same table, and Joseph Frei seems to be one of the chip leaders nearby with around 240,000 in his stack.

"He Has to Show"

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

There were roughly 9,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 37K, Seunghyun Nam bet 2,400 from middle position when the 10 hit the turn and was quickly called by Thomas Brabham on the button.

Nam overbet to 21,200 when the 8 hit the river which left himself with less than a big blind in his stack. Brabham clearly not happy as he flicked in a chip to call and got shown 77 which took the pot.

A player announced to the table "he has to show" referring to Brabham, which Brabham responded with "he's not all in!".

Sangannagari Spikes the Turn

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Sridhar Sangannagari had his stack of 45,000 in the middle from the button and was put at risk by Clemen Deng in the big blind.

Sridhar Sangannagari: 88 All in
Clemen Deng: 1010

Sangannagari was in a world of trouble and didn't find much to work with on the 729 flop. However, the 8 on the turn gave him a set and propelled him into the lead with just one card to come. Deng needed to hit a jack, ten, or a six to scoop the pot, but the A river was of no use, and Sangannagari doubled up.

Yankov Jams the River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Joining the hand on the turn of a 8A6 3 board, with roughly 12,000 chips in the pot, Krasimir Yankov bet 10,800 from the small blind. Yiannis Liperis called from under the gun.

The river 10 completed the available flush draw on the flop and Yankov committed the rest of his 18,200 stack.

Liperis considered his options, looking Yankov up and down, before choosing to fold.

Housser Bets Small on the River, Lawhead Hits Two Pair

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With around 8,000 in the pot on a 268A board, Christopher Housser checked from the big blind and Benjamin Palmer also tapped the table from under the gun. David Lawhead was in the cutoff and bet 5,000, which both Housser and Palmer called.

A 4 completed the board and Housser decided to lead out with a small sizing of 2,500. Palmer quickly folded, and Lawhead called.

"Ace," announced Housser as he revealed A7. Lawhead then rolled over A6 for two pair, which was good enough to see him scoop the pot.

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a board of 82K92, there were around 40,000 chips in the pot when Jon Vallinas shoved his stack of 50,000 into the middle.

Troutt with Top Top Against Leonard

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

We picked up this hand on the flop with 8,500 chips in the middle; and heads-up action between Michael Troutt and Patrick Leonard both in middle position. The board read Q103, and Troutt elected to bet 1,800. Leonard would raise to 4,000, Troutt obliged.

When the 4 hit the turn, action paused with a check from Troutt and a check-back from Leonard.

With the 6 bringing a potential flush on the river, the action was on Troutt who decided 7,000 was the price of admission. Leonard pondered for a moment, but in the end, made the call, and was shown the bad news.

Michael Troutt: AQ

Holding top pair top kicker, Troutt chipped up to a healthy 87,000 chips during the 400 big blind level.

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a board of J102 7 Q and 11,000 chips in the middle, big blind Ryan Hohner checked to Simeon Spasov.

Spasov took a moment before constructing a bet of 9,500.

This was enough to get the job done as Hohner folded, adding this pot to the growing stack of Spasov.
