Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen raised to 20,000 from the hijack and Phil Hellmuth tanked a bit in the big blind before announcing he was all in for his last 55,000. Foxen called.

Hellmuth stood pat and Foxen drew one.

"You were supposed to draw two. You might be a small favorite," Hellmuth said.

Phil Hellmuth: QxJx8x4x2xAll in
Alex Foxen 9x7x6x5x

Foxen peeled a 4x to leave him best with a nine and eliminate Hellmuth late in the evening.

Per Hildebrand

Nick Schulman raised to 24,000 in middle position and James Chen three-bet to 95,000 in the cutoff. Per Hildebrand called for his last 85,000 in the small blind, while Schulman also called.

Schulman and Hildebrand took one while Chen stood pat. Schulman then bet 40,000 and Chen called.

Schulman showed 9x8x7x5x3x and Chen mucked. Hildebrand turned over 5x4x3x2x. "Not dead yet," he said as he prepared to turn over his last card, but he ended up with a 6x to make a straight and was sent to the rail.

Rast Checks and Wins With "Good Check-Back Hand"

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 18,000 ante

Elior Sion opened to 27,000 first to act and was called by Brian Rast from directly behind and Dario Alioto in the big blind for a three-way pot.

Alioto drew two, Sion stood pat, and Rast drew one.

It was checked to Rast, who said, "I have a good check-back hand, so I'm gonna check." Alioto mucked his hand and Sion announced, "Jack."

Rast fanned out 10x8x6x5x2x for a ten and was sent the pot.

"It was a good check-back and win hand."

Moreschi Shoves Blind

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 18,000 ante
Stephen Moreschi
Stephen Moreschi

"All in blind," Stephen Moreschi said as he put in his last 89,000 from under the gun. Chad Eveslage called in the cutoff, but Alex Foxen reraised to 250,000 in the small blind. Eveslage then reshoved for 500,000. "This might be an uphill hill," Moreschi said as Foxen finally folded.

Eveslage stood pat and showed 9x8x6x5x4x while Moreschi peeked at his cards. "One good card. One good card," he said to a round of laughs, drawing four while keeping a 3x.

He first turned over a Qx and was already drawing dead and headed to the payout desk as Eveslage scooped the entire pot.

Each player drew one.

Robert Wells: 9x7x3x2xAll in
Danny Wong: 7x5x3x2xAll in
George Alexander: 7x5x3x2x

Alexander peeled first and drew a 6x to make number three.

Alioto Eliminated After Pairing up Against Negreanu

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 18,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu opened to 30,000 from the cutoff and Dario Alioto three-bet to 296,000 from the big blind — leaving himself a single t-1,000 chip behind. Negreanu just called.

Both players drew one and Alioto checked to Negreanu, who bet to put Alioto all in.

Alioto tanked for as long as he could, but the floor gave him a clock and Alioto reluctantly called all in.

Negreanu announced, "King" and spread out Kx7x4x3x2x. Alioto showed 8x6x6x4x2x for a pair of sixes and was eliminated.

Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

Brian Rast opened to 28,000 from under the gun and Felipe Ramos shoved for his last 132,000 on the button. Just behind him, George Alexander made it 260,000 to go from the small blind and Rast got out of the way.

Alexander stood pat and Ramos tanked a while before deciding to break his ten face up.

"Good break," Alexander said.

Felipe Ramos: 8x7x4x2xAll in
George Alexander: 9x8x5x4x3x

Ramos made the correct move, but wasn't rewarded as he received an 8x — pairing his eight to be eliminated in 21st place.
