Zhong Takes Haynes Bounty

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Players were already on a 6510 flop and heads-up. Weizheng Zhong moved all in and action was on Steve Haynes.

Haynes made the call, putting himself at risk, and the players flipped their cards.

Steve Haynes: J10All in
Weizheng Zhong:AA

Haynes stood from the table after seeing Zhong's Aces, beating his top pair he had hit on the flop.

The 9, 3 runout didn't help Haynes, and he passed his bounty chip to Zhong and was eliminated from the tournament.

Ford Makes Trips

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Tom Hall limped in from the hijack, and Hugh Cullen went all in on the button by flicking in his remaining two 1,000 denomination chips. Juan Ford called from the small blind before Dustin Ethridge checked his option.

On a flop of AQQ, Hall bet out for a single big blind, and Ford made the call. The turn 7 checked through, and Ford bet out for 6,000 when he was checked to on the 6 river. Hall folded, and Ford turned over Q5 for flopped trips. Cullen quickly showed his AJ before leaving the table.

Baumgartner's Collecting Bounties

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Players were in a three-way all in with Anthony Brooks at risk from under the gun with the smallest stack, Grant Strook all in from the cutoff and Jacob Baumgartner in the small blind.

Grant Strook: 88All in
Anthony Brooks: A10All in
Jacob Baumgartner: K2

Strook was hoping to hold but Brooks picked up a better pair on the 7610 flop.

Brooks improved further on the A turn.

Strook ran out of luck as Baumgartner hit a king on the K river, meaning he took the side pot and Stook's bounty, adding to his collection of four bounty chips.

Wolf Building a Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Robin Guillaumot raised from the cutoff to 5,000 and got calls from William Wolf on the button and Bo Oh in the small blind.

The flop came Q4A, Oh and Guillaumot both checked, and Wolf put out a bet of 7,000. Guillaumot called, and Oh folded. The turn brought the 6, and Guillaumot checked again. Wolf bet 40,000, which was enough to put Guillaumot all in. Guillaumot called.

Robin Guillaumot: A9All in
William Wolf: 44

Guillaumot was drawing dead, so the J was irrelevant on the river, and he was sent to the rail with the pot and bounty chip being shipped Wolf's way.

Nines Good For Bloch

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

As is the theme here in the Super Turbo Bounty, there was some huge preflop action as Taylor Hart, Andrew Bloch, and Zhargal Tsydypov got all their chips in after seeing only their hole cards.

Andrew Bloch: 99 All in
Taylor Hart: 77 All in
Zhargal Tsydypov: AK

The Q9K flop gave Bloch a big sweat, as the king came in the window; however his set of nines left both other players looking for runner-runner. The 2 turn sealed his win, and the J sent Hart home, with Tsydypov taking his bounty, and Bloch tripling up.

Some Big Stacks Being Built

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ed Pineda raised from the cutoff to 4,000 only for Connor Belcher to three-bet all in from the small blind for 18,700. Thomas Desroches in the big blind, then four-bet all in, and Pineda folded.

Connor Belcher: AJAll in
Thomas Desroches: 88

The flop came 104Q and when the 8 fell on the turn, Belcher needed a king to hit a gutshot and stay alive. No such luck when the 7 fell on the river and Belcher was sent packing.

Pineda, who was the initial raiser in the pot, had already built up a stack of over 200,000 and is possibly the early chip leader.
