Edoc Wins One; Hennigan Still Has Piles

Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
John Hennigan
John Hennigan

John Hennigan raised in early position to 32,000. Lester Edoc called from the small blind.

Heads up to a flop of 6QJ, both players checked.

The turn peeled the Q and they both checked again.

The river brought the 8 and Edoc bet 100,000. Hennigan shrugged and put in the call but mucked when Edoc tabled KQ for trips.

Despite losing this pot, Hennigan was still healthily doing the color up for the table.

Outfoxing Foxen

Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Kristen Foxen
Kristen Foxen

After beginning with a hot hand, Kristen Foxen cooled considerable in the second level of the day. At the break, she was holding a quarter of the chips she once had.

Tablemate Brian James has dominated play, amassing more than a million chips. He got an early boost in a heads-up battle with Foxen.

Foxen bet into James three times, starting with a preflop raise. With the board reading J224, Foxen bet 130,000 chips. James played with his stack for a bit, then shoved all in.

Foxen studied the board for some time before electing to fold.

James turned over the 10, but didn't show his other hole card.

Hennigan's Snowmen Melt; Ravich Doubles

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ede Ravich opened the button to 20,000 and John Hennigan made it 120,000 from the small blind.

The dealer presented the A25 and Ravich checked to Hennigan. The
seven-time bracelet winner continued his aggression with a bet of 105,000.

The two must have had history because Ravich went all in and Hennigan beat her in the pot with a call.

Ede Ravich: A5 All in
John Hennigan: 88

Hennigan needed to catch an eight but the Q and 3 came instead, cutting Hennigan's stack in half and doubling Ravich's.

Zobian Eliminated by Phillips

Level 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The board read 10J6J, and Aram Zobian was in the big blind with 15,000 in chips and was taking his time to decide whether to put the rest of his chips into the pot, which was about 350,000. His opponent, Michael Phillips, was in late position and called the clock, and Zobian called after the clock counted down 30 seconds.

Aram Zobian: K6 All in
Michael Phillips: 88

Zobian held two pair with sixes and jacks, and Phillips had the better two pair with eights and jacks. The river 5 did not affect the outcome, and Zobian was out, and Phillips collected a nice pot.
