Dylan Linde Eliminated in 7th Place ($207,647)

Level 42 : Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante

Ashish Gupta raised to 6,000,000 holding the A10 and met resistance by David Uvaydov, who three-bet to 13,500,000 with the AK in the cutoff. It folded back to the Aussie and he reluctantly folded to continue the careful proceedings of the final table so far.

However, that would only last one more hand when a setup unfolded.

Dylan Linde raised to 6,000,000 in the hijack and [Removed:548] in the small blind inquired about his stack size at the start of the hand before three-betting to 17,000,000. Now it was on Linde to glance towards the other side of the table and figure out how many chips his opponent had.

One minute later, Linde then clicked it back with a four-bet to 29,000,000 for more than one third of his stack.

"Can I have a quick glance at your stack?" [Removed:549] inquired and Linde moved away his arm for a split second. [Removed:549] pushed all-in and Linde called but already shook his head while doing so, seemingly knowing what inevitable showdown would follow.

The board ran out 662QA brought no help to Linde with [Removed:549] improving to aces full.

"Sorry Dylan, setup hand," [Removed:549] said when they shook hands. The run of Linde came to an end in seventh place and the two-time bracelet winner had to settle for a payday of $207,647.

Gupta Cracks Kings to Double

Level 42 : Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Ashish Gupta

Daniel Lei raised to 6,000,000 from under the gun and Ashish Gupta three-bet jammed for 31,000,000 in middle position to put himself at risk. Ivan Ruban made the call in the small blind and Lei got out of the way.

Ivan Ruban: KK

The flop came 9Q3 with Ruban still out in the lead with a pair of kings. That was until the 10 fell on the turn, with Gupta improving to trips.

Ruban still had outs with the king, jack, or heart but Gupta was able to fade it when the 8 rolled off on the river, earning him the double up.

Uvaydov Leads the Way; Linde in Contention to Win $1,500 MONSTER STACK No-Limit Hold'em

Dylan Linde

The half-way point of the 2025 World Series of Poker has nearly been reached and more than three dozen WSOP gold bracelets have already found a new owner at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. One more will be up for grabs today on the main stage inside of the Horseshoe Event Center when Event #37: $1,500 MONSTER STACK No-Limit Hold'em will come to a conclusion.

After the completion of all four starting flights and three subsequent tournament days, the gargantuan field of 9,920 entries has been whittled down to only seven hopefuls. All of them are vying for the largest possible slice of the $13,168,800 prize pool and American poker pro Dylan Linde is the only former WSOP gold bracelet winner still in contention.

Linde sits in third place with a stack of 88,500,000 and trails fellow countryman David Uvaydov (102,000,000) as well as Austria's [Removed:548] (90,100,000).

Not far behind them is Daniel Lei with a stack of 81,600,000 and Russia's Ivan Ruban is only one double-up away from the chip lead, coming into the final day with 62,100,000. At the bottom of the leaderboard are James Leonard (40,700,000) and Ashish Gupta (30,800,000), the latter of which is usually a pot-limit Omaha specialist, but he certainly also knows how to handle two cards only and has already cashed for nearly $1.2 million in live poker tournaments.

The final seven players have locked up at least $207,647 for their efforts but all pay jumps going forward will be spicy and significant. Only the winner is set to take home the coveted WSOP gold bracelet and staggering top prize of $1,204,457.

The PokerNews live updates will be published according to the delayed live stream as of 2 p.m. Las Vegas time until a winner has been crowned here in Sin City.
