Lee Applies Pressure

Level 2 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

After a raise from the hijack by Andrew Pacheco to 7,000, Stephen Chidwick and Chang Lee called from the cutoff and big blind.

The flop came J73. Lee and Pacheco checked, Chidwick bet 6,000, Lee raised to 17,000, Pacheco folded, and Chidwick called.

On the 4 turn, Lee bet 58,000, which was enough to force Chidwick to release his hand.

Lee Shows the Bluff, Boivin in Reverse

Level 2 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Chang Lee raised the cutoff to 9,000, and next to act, Thomas Boivin raised to 28,000, which Lee called.

The flop came J8Q, which slowed the action as both players checked.

Lee decided to lead out on the 3 turn, betting 17,000, which Boivin called.

On the river 8, Lee assembled a big bet of 150,000 and pushed it into the middle.

When Boivin folded, Lee rolled over the 74 for the successful bluff.

"Could you beat that?" he chirped.

Action Heating Up on Table 65

Level 2 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Mathew Frankland opened to 8,000 from under the gun and was called by Barak Wisbrod and Vinny Lingham from the cutoff and button. Isaac Haxton also called from the big blind.

Action checked to Wisbrod on the KQ2 flop and he bet 15,000. Lingham folded before Haxton called. Frankland then made it 78,000. Wisbrod quickly got out of the way, but Haxton called once more.

The 5 turn checked through to the 6 river. Haxton asked Frankland to see his stack, and saw the Englishman was playing around 375,000. Haxton jammed for around the same, and after some thought, Frankland folded.

On the next deal, Adrian Mateos opened to 7,000 and Wisbrod called from the hijack. Lingham three-bet to 27,000 from the cutoff. Only Wisbrod called.

Wisbrod check-called for 25,000 on the Q62 flop before the 9 turn checked through to the 3 river. Wisbrod bet 30,000 and Lingham got curious, throwing in a calling chip.

Wisbrod tabled 1010 for a pair of tens. Lingham said, "Nice hand," before turning over his no good AxJx.

Heath First Out

Level 2 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Emilien Pitavy
Emilien Pitavy

The action was picked up on the flop with 78,000 in the middle on a board of Q85. Ben Heath, in the small blind, check-called the 26,000-chip bet from Emilien Pitavy, sitting under the gun.

The turn came the J and Heath once again check-called Pitavy's bet, this time for 90,000.

Heath checked a third time on the 5 river, and Pitavy announced all in, putting Heath's remaining 250,000 chips and tournament life in play. Heath made the call, tabling AA, which was no good versus the 109 for a queen-high straight of Pitavy.
