Phil Ivey's slow start to the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) appears to have ended.

The 11-time bracelet winner not only recorded his first cash of the summer. He's among the big stacks in Event #38: $100,000 High Roller with 15 players remaining. Thomas Boivin and Ben Heath are also at the top of the leaderboard, all battling to win the gold bracelet and the $2,649,158 first-place prize.

The 4♣ paired the board on the turn and Ivey led out with a bet of 300,000. Vieira called and the 3♣ landed on the river. Ivey checked this time and Vieira jammed all in for around 1,200,000. Ivey quickly mucked his cards in disgust and Vieira collected the pot.

Boivin check-called a bet of 180,000 on the 3♠4♦A♦ flop, before both players checked the 2♦ turn.

Boivin checked for a third time on the 7♥ river. Haxton reopened the action by betting 440,000, which Boivin called straight away.

Haxton tabled A♠7♠ for a rivered two pair, and Boivin mucked his hand.
