Hunichen & Heath Play a Big One on the Bubble

Level 16 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

Mathew Frankland used five of the 11 time banks he possesed before folding in the cutoff. The action then went on Ben Heath, who opened to 160,000 from the button. Vinny Lingham folded in the small blind before Chris Hunichen defended his big blind.

Hunichen check-called bets of 90,000 and 465,000 on the flop and turn for the board to read K10543. Heath used a time bank of his own before sizing up to 785,000.

Hunichen had around 2,500,000 behind and went into the tank. Two time banks later, he called.

"Jesus," Hunichen muttered as Heath tabled AA. The defending champion couldn't beat the rockets and the pot was pushed to Heath.

Dan Smith opened to 160,000 from the button and called off his stack of approximately 1,000,000 when Phil Ivey put him all in from the big blind.
