Ivey was the first elimination at the final table, and it marks his first recorded cash at the 2025 WSOP.

On a flop of 5♥4♥Q♥, Heath check-called another bet of 400,000.
The turn 8♦ slowed action down as both players checked; however, more was to come from the river.
The dealer revealed the 4♦, and Heath led out for 1,100,000. Action was back on Lingham, and when he raised the minimum amount of 2,200,000, Heath was visibly dismayed. Heath used one time bank before reluctantly throwing in a chip to signal a call.
Lingham turned over A♥J♥ for the flopped nut flush, and Heath mucked his hand.

"Eight! Eight," could be heard from a senior onlooker at the rail. The 3♦ and 2♥ completed the board and Peters, along with his fan, exited the area.
"Does David know that guy?" Oganyan questioned after the hand.
"I mean, I guess it could be David's uncle," Isaac Haxton hypothesized.
